Keefes went out to my 96 and 86 year old parents house with the temperature over 90 degrees. They are both in bad health. They tried to tell me the same BS lines they told me at my house about they couldnt get the Freon or the parts and wanted to quote a price for a new unit. I called another ********** who came out and simply REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT and had the unit running in 30 minutes. I still had to pay the $88 service fee. They should be investigated.Review from Beth R

Sharing my experience with Keefes AC. They quoted me $22-$26K for a new AC system. I said it was too high. They asked what did I expect to pay? I replied around $15K not really knowing what a reasonable price is. Keefes then said we can do the job for $15K. Very wrong in so many ways! They are trying to take advantage of people. We bought a house in April 2024 and we knew that the a/c and furnace unit was old and needed to be changed. In the beginning of August, the a/c was failing. We called Keefe's since they are accredited by the BBB and have an A+ rating. Joey came out the same day to inspect our system and got it to last a few more days. John came out the day after to go over all of our choices including payment plans and was totally transparent with no hidden costs. The day after that, Carlos and his crew were installing our new system and brought problem areas up to code. We are so satisfied with Keefe's and their business practices. We are customers for life. On July 26, I was contacted by Keefe’s AC regarding maintenance on my AC Systems that had been installed by Keefe’s. Maintenance was scheduled for Tuesday July 30, I asked when would the technician be there and was told that I would receive a call on Tuesday letting me know when he would be there. On Tuesday July 30, I was contacted by Keefe’s at approximately 10:30am and was told that the maintenance would need to be rescheduled. I was told that it would be on August 6, and again I would receive a call from them. On Tuesday August 6, at 11:00am I contacted Keefe’s asking when would someone be doing the maintenance, I was told I would need to speak with “Dispatch” and then transferred. I waited 10 minutes having to endure reruns of a Keefe’s AC commercial before I hung up. I called again at noon that same day and spoke to dispatch but I could not get an answer to my question. I asked that they cancel the scheduled maintenance as well as the remainder of the maintenance agreement since they were unable to perform the services. I was told that they would have a manager contact me. At 5:30pm I contacted Keefe’s asking why no one had contacted me. I was told that someone had attempted to do so but that there was no answer. I asked what number did they dial and was told a number that I have no idea who it belongs to. I gave my number xxx-xxx-xxxx and asked for someone to call me to let me know when I can expect the refund for maintenance contract. It is now 12:45pm Wednesday August 7, and no one from Keefe’s has bothered to contact me. It is quite obvious that the words “Customer” & “Service” are not combined at Keefe’s.

Purchased a new A/C system. During installation, there was a Freon leak due to the service tech having a faulty meter. Supervisor came out and had to drain the whole system before adding more ****** Post install, water was leaking in my attic due to no replacement water pipes being installed like we were told would happen because one of our main concerns was a drain pipe not draining and tripping the float switch due to a clog that could not be blown out. Called and took hours to respond. I have videos of all the water leaking in my attic. Could have flooded entire house. Also they forgot to install the air scrubber I paid for. When I call they say an email will be sent and nothing. They took my money and never looked back. Didnt get what I paid for. My attic is still a mess from water damage. Found smoked cigarettes all over my attic and we are non smokers. Also my unit outside is extremely unleveled. I have pictures showing how terribly tilted my unit is. Now its making weird noises. No help from customer support. It has been since June 14th and still no call back at all. I have never written a negative review in my life but this is a situation everyone should be aware of. Would not wish using this company for anyone. I would give negative stars if I could. Keefe's repairman came to my house because my AC unit wasn't running. The repairman looked at the unit and said the AC blower was out so it will cost $1200.00 to replace the blower. He said a few other things had to be fixed like building water in the pan, condensation build-up, and rusty coils. He said the total cost of the repairs will be $2087.00 I notified another AC repairman next day and he looked at the unit and said the breaker was tripped due to the condensation build-up which shut down the unit. He removed the condensation including the water from the pan and cleaned the coils and had the AC unit running again in 30 minutes. The total cost for the repairs $260.00 I'm extremely upset that Keefe's tried to rip me off over a very simple fix to my AC unit.

Had supposedly 25 point inspection done. Unit wasnt cooling. Thought unit needed Freon. Serviceman said I needed a whole new system. Called another company for second opinion. It was just the wiring. I have been a loyal customer since 2009. Recently, after years of health problems, another company found biological growth in my air ducts. I had a yearly maintenance contract through *******. They said our system was in great condition. When I called the manager, I was told I missed a service call despite paperwork staring orherwise. We replaced our ductwork using a different company because ******* quoted us an extra $7k to only do half the work. I asked to speak to a GM and it took 2 weeks for him to say he would research the matter and get back to us. Still waiting on his findings. Please use another company or do your research.
