I paid Farmhouse Treasures a deposit of $548.75 to build a custom bed on May 15, 2021. He committed to a delivery day of mid September 2021. On Oct 14th, 2021 I inquired on the status of the bed. He pushed back delivery another month since he had been impacted by hurricane Ida. Due to various delays the next delivery date was Mid month Feb 2022. Every time I inquired on the status the delivery date was pushed back due to various reasons. The next promised day was August 9th, 2021. Delivery rescheduled to Sep 10th 2022. He was unable to make that delivery date and I went out of town for a month and due to the holidays the delivery was reschedule to the week after Thanksgiving 2022. That delivery date was not met and a new delivery date was scheduled for February 2023. During previous conversations he had offered my money back; after a year of missed delivery dates I requested a refund. On April 4th, 2023 he offered to refund it back to the card I made my original deposit with. Unfortunately, I had to cancel that card due to fraudulent use. I let him know the card was canceled and he offered to mail me a check. On May 22nd 2024 I let him know the check had not arrived. He offered to meet me in Baton Rouge, where I live, to give me my refund. I asked for a location to meet him and he never responded. I have not heard from him since then; he will not respond to my messages. He has removed his phone number from his Facebook page but is still doing business, selling furniture on his sight. I would just like my money back that I gave to him in good faith as a down payment on the bed he committed to build and has not delivered. He has Venmo, I see no reason he cannot just Venmo me my refund. *All correspondence is through FB messenger routed by their FaceBook page; most of my conversations were through FB messenger except for two phone conversations. **I am attaching a copy of the invoice where I paid the deposit and a copy of the correspondence on Facebook Messenger.

I want to start off by saying I’m going to sum this up as best as I can. On January 22, 2022, I reached out to Farmhouse Treasures on Facebook in hopes to get a bedroom set made. I placed an order for a queen bed, chest, 12 drawer dresser, night stand and a delivery fee. I paid a deposit of $1317 that same day. I was told up front that it would be 16-18 weeks until completion, which I was fine with. I never heard anything from them so I contacted them June 6th 2022 to receive an update and to pay the rest, which was $1690.15. I was told then about set backs. I understood. From there on out I kept getting excuses. Finally October 2022 I cancelled my order and wanted my refund. They “tried” to issue me a refund twice but it would not go through. My husband called the owner, ***** *****, & he stated he didn’t know what was going on then the story changed to they had to fund a funeral for his father or his father in law, which I later found out was not true, so he “partially refunded” $700. We understood and let up since the holidays were coming. I also had my son right after Christmas. After that, my husband tried to contact with them some but they stopped responding. We have both been blocked on Facebook as well as our numbers. I am still owed $2300 for the furniture I never received.
