I bought a 2005 Nissan Xterra at First Choice Automotive on 02/14/2022 from ****** Nathan. My total purchase price was $4200. Within a day my car began to show signs of transmission issues. It has difficulties with acceleration. I contacted ****** ****** who then referred me to someone he knew that could look at my car. I brought my car to him and was told by him that it is transmission issues. He further claimed that "this is what ****** does" he also said he would return the car or pay him $1700 to fix the issue. I was irate because I trusted that ****** was selling me a reliable car. I don't just have $4200 laying around to spend/ waste on a broken vehicle and I darn sure do not have another $1700 to fix this car. The blue book value is lower than what is essentially going to be my total cost invested in this vehicle. When I did contact ****** again he said he would call me back. I also apologize for my rudeness on a previous call. ****** showed no compassion as if he didn't give a care. He has yet to contact me back and I have yet to receive my title from him. Also I have an appointment to drop my car off at ****** Transmission shop in Lafayette LA for Wednesday morning.
