I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change on Friday, February 2, 2024, the total cost was $73.99. The company's name is Lightning Oil & Lube, dba ******* Lubrication according to the receipt. While driving home, I noticed a noise to my vehicle that wasn't there before the oil change. So, I called the company, however the phone number was disconnected. I then had the car towed to the ****** Dealership in ******** **, because I knew something was wrong, because the car was making a whining noise. Upon inspection of the vehicle, it was indicated that the company had drained most of the transmission fluid out, instead of the oil, and the oil was doubled filled. Therefore, this caused stressed on the transmission, and it needs to be replaced at a cost of $7,800.00.I visited the shop to inform of this error and the Manager (****************) admitted to the mistake and said to give him a copy of the estimate and he would get back with me, however he did not, so I went back the next day, and he stated "you will have to *** me because I'm not taking care of this". I am requesting that the company take care of the cost for the transmission.Customer response
