Mr. Aymond promised us that the guest house would be finished in 6 weeks. It took 7 months and still have no barn door. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He refuses to give an itemized receipt for what we paid. He will not respond to emails or messages. We need an itemized receipt, an answer to how long the warranty is and we need the trash He left removed from our property. Very unhappy with the experience. Thank you

The *********’s decided to take on part of the project themselves which disrupted the timeline.  That coupled with overburden in the market to get subcontractors who are working long hours already.

She received a quote at the start which she signed and she was billed according to that quote.  All invoices state what she was billed for.  She also received multiple budget updates via email as well as phone calls discussing them.
Someone was sent to clean.  I have before and after pictures of the inside.  The client called the craftsman I had obtained to build the pocket door and told him not to worry about doing it.  I can provide emails budget updates and invoices.

lastly the standard warranty can be found in the Louisiana homeowners act online.

I Challenge the client to produce on documents about threatening to put a lien.  The can you wait aspect was due to a repeated question several times in a few minutes. My subs also recessed a concrete area for the shower, because the contractor that the homeowner hired did not do that.  No charge to the homeowner.  The homeowner took setting in the countertops yet didn't cut for the sink. set the appliances in, which is technically the job of most cabinet installers.  My sub contractor cut to set the sink so the plumber could finish.  No charge to the homeowner.  They also received thicker insulation in the walls per their request.  No charge to the homeowner.  The metal company did not provide any vent outside penetration to vent the range hood.  My sub contractor to care of that also at no charge to the homeowner.  Materials being delivered early at any point to any job is to secure materials in an uncertain market.  The homeowner pulled the permits and assumed the role as contractor hiring different contractors and assuming some of the work themselves.  There is much to be said for delay when all of the subs are stretch then to complete every job.  I cannot speak to a clients understanding of anything, but we did have multiple phone calls and emails where everything was explained.  To speak on the barn door, if the homeowner takes it upon themselves to cancel an order for something personally then they need to take over sourcing the door themselves.  It was stated in the final that this would be an item they would pay the craftsman for and it would not be going through ABD.  Barn doors cannot be installed at the same time other are, since the hardware is in the way of the painters.

I am rejecting this response because: Mr.Aymond see the attached where you said, "Then you're not moving in." We and anyone else would interpret that you are threatening a lien. Unless you were threatening something else? Either way, you threatened me to pay you when the door you had me send my preference for in NOVEMBER wasn't in my house. There's no need to respond, as you won't respond with resolutions but only excuses as you did the entire 7 months.

      Sincerely,
