We hired CK Services ****** ******) to do some inside construction in the house we just bought at **** *** **** ***** Moss Bluff, LA 70611. Almost from the beginning we began to butt heads because we would set up a meeting and ***** would fail to meet blaming us for not confirming or not calling him when he thought we should have. The work ***** and his crew performed was deficient and not even square. ***** and his crew left most the work undone and I'm having to have most the work they did redone and completed. They left dents in some of my painted walls, the pocket door ***** delivered, after I fired him, is damaged and he refused to refund any money from the unfinished work as well as offer to finish any work. (We didn't want him finishing work because the work was not square) I'm providing pics of some of the damage and work done that has to be redone. Also pics are provided of texts and messages.

      Dear Mr. ****,
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that you had a frustrating experience.

It seems that you have two separate complaints. I will try and address both of them. The first complaint involves you having a disagreement with an employee of the company. I do sincerely apologize for this, and we will use your feedback to improve customer relations in the future.

Your second complaint is about the work done at your home. I have reviewed all correspondence (through your copies of text messages and our own) All of the text messages that you have attached are one side of the dispute between you and the employee. The only text message that I have found from you about wanting something fixed in your home was responded to quickly. As your own attachment shows, we informed you immediately that an employee was going back to your home to fix the area.

I have attached the text messages from you that clearly state that you did not want us to complete the work at your home because of this dispute. The pictures that you have provided are of work that was not completed, at your request. If you had not canceled our contract, all repairs would have been completed and everything would have been straight. (The same as our previous jobs at your home).

The invoices that you have provided clearly show that you hired our company on several occasions. Once again, there was no discussion from you about the quality of work at your home. You paid for these invoices and hired our company again.

The only discussion we have had with you about any problems with the jobs done at your home is about your dispute with an employee. I have also attached text messages received from you. As you can see, you never mention the quality of work done at your home, only that the employee “needs to learn he can’t talk to people and treat people any Ole way.”

I would also like to point out that the only payment that we received from you on this last job was for materials that we provided and time spent at your house. (Our crew worked at your house for over a month after your payment.) We have not collected any money from you for work that was not completed. Once you had made the dispute with the employee known, and asked our company not to continue with the work, we delivered all materials that you paid for to your home. If the unopened pocket door that was delivered to your home was damaged, you may want to contact the company that it was bought from.

Once again, I do apologize that your experience with the company did not match your expectations. I have tried multiple times to contact you to speak to you about this, but you have not responded.  Please feel free to reach out to our office with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. I will use your feedback about your dispute to improve customer relations in the future.

I am rejecting this response because:  I've already responded to this response and some of the pictures show clearly how they performed bad work.  Where they mentioned that I can return the pocket door?   That's impossible because I don't have the receipt, nor do I know where ***** ****** purchased the pocket door from.   ***** ****** (who told me he is the owner of the business - not an employee)  ordered the door and would need to refund my money and return the door himself.     ***** ****** is *****'s wife, who ***** informed me does the books for him and sends me emails based on his decisions.

The BBB is my final offer to ***** & ***** to make this right before its actually filed with the courts.  I tried to get ***** to make this right and he rejected my offers.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ****

Again, we vehemently deny the accusations made by Mr.****. Mr. **** states that this company left work undone at his house. In his same comments, he said that he “fired” our company after his dispute. This company cannot be faulted for not finishing work in his home after he “fired” us.

Once again, we did NOT receive any money for work that has not been done. Mr. **** attached an estimate for the total job. We did NOT receive that amount. The only money that Mr. **** paid was for materials bought for his house and labor on his home. We did NOT collect money upfront for any work that was not performed. We delivered all materials paid for by Mr. ****, even after he “fired” us. Mr. **** also attached estimates for past jobs. These jobs were completed before Mr. **** hired our company again.

I have tried multiple times to call Mr. ****. I have also asked Mr. **** to call our office. Mr. **** has neither answered my calls nor called me. This leaves me to believe that his claims about the delivered pocket door are also false. If Mr. **** wanted to speak to me about the receipt for the pocket door, he would have answered my calls.

Though it was my wish to resolve this issue amicably, we will not entertain false and defamatory accusations. Mr. **** has also posted his false claims on social media. Therefore, I will be moving forward with legal counsel.
