I was a patient of the focal point in youngsville. I called to get to get medical records and was informed they are closed and another business bought them out. I then asked about my warranty that i purchased from the focal point and the new business said they are locked out and have no access. I want my medical records and information on my warranty on this book of business.Business response

I am writing in response to the complaint filed by Casey ******** regarding their experience as a patient of the former Focal Point in Youngsville. We would like to express our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that Casey ******** has encountered in their attempt to access their medical records and warranty information. The situation described by Casey ******** is a result of the recent change in ownership of the Focal Point in Youngsville. The clinic has been acquired by a new business entity and are currently facing challenges with accessing records and warranties associated with the previous ownership.
We would like to clarify that Dr. Jerry ******, who previously owned the Focal Point in Youngsville, is still practicing at his other location. That practice is the Family Eye Clinic, located at 2041 NW Evangeline Throughway, Lafayette, LA 70501. However, we must emphasize that we do not have information regarding whether Dr. ****** will honor the warranties that were purchased during his ownership at the Focal Point or will give access to the records.
We understand the urgency and importance of obtaining medical records and warranty information. To help resolve this matter, we recommend that Casey ******** consult with Dr. Jerry ****** at Family Eye Clinic regarding the warranty and records issues. We regret any inconvenience Casey ******** has experienced due to this transition and the limitations associated with accessing records and warranties. Thank you for you aid with this matter, and we appreciate your assistance in facilitating communication between all parties involved.
