I paid a 50% deposit to this company for a small slop sink and water filter system to be installed in our home basement. The owner or person I worked with demanded I put the checks in his personal name; I objected, and he got pretty pushy and stated the quoted ***** was for the job in his name and not the company name. I was going to cancel, but he got very agitated and then was intimidating toward me. I had to reprint the chick in his name. He never showed up to do the work with excuse after excuse and I asked for a refund VIA email and text. I have been repeatedly told that he would mail out a check for the refund. Paid it 10/31/22 and never got a refund.Initial Complaint

On 1/25/22, ****** from JBL Drain showed up at my house to give me an estimate for a sink repair. He gave me an estimate and then asked for half the amount in deposit to 'order supplies', which I provided via Zelle. After 2 reschedules, he had 2 no-shows and stopped responding to my messages and phone calls. He has not returned the deposit and we are not out $355. He uses Zelle intentionally because it is nearly impossible to get a chargeback.
