Stay away from Windsor Communities. My senior parents moved in during COVID and it has been a disaster. They only care about their bottom line and have raised their lease by +23% over a 2-year period, much higher than inflation. There have been ongoing issues with noise and they treat my elderly Asian parents as 2nd class citizens. They only care about attracting young, white professionals and could care less about seniors, people with disabilities, or people on fixed incomes. They adjust their rental amounts daily so you could get a different answer about the cost of a rental or based on the color of your skin. Unscrupulous corporate real estate companies like Windsor are the reason why we need rent control protections in *************.

Potential renters beware. The Windsor ************* complex looks nice on the outside but what's on the inside is what counts. I moved into the complex against my better judgement. However, I was under pressure from my company to move here quickly for relocation purposes. The complex was the only one that I could find that had a 5 month lease and garage. After applying, I was told that the 5 month lease was a glitch on their website which I dont believe. Obviously they had not bothered to update their site. They wouldn't stand behind the 5 months but wanted to keep my app fee but return the ridiculous $400 admin fee. I had to contact the *** of the company to get resolution. So, they decided to honor the agreement.After driving over 33 hours to get here, I arrived to an apartment that had not been cleaned. It was filthy. The top of the fridge had not been cleaned in months. The bathrooms, floors, ceiling fans, and carpet were dirty. I brought this up to the property manager and didn't get a response. She had one of her office staff call to have someone clean the kitchen and they still didn't do a good job. They also sent someone to clean the carpet. Initially, I used my carpet cleaner which isn't industrial strength The water was a chocolate milk color. The dryer had a weird smell. I had to use an old remedy of putting a rag in the dryer that had been soaked in vinegar. The ceilings are dirty in the bathrooms. There are actual dust bunnies. The bathroom counter tops have stains and the sinks have sloppy repairs. Underneath the kitchen sink has an odor that is nauseating. I've put in a request twice. The first time maintenance came and poured Lysol down the drain like that was going to solve the problem. The 2nd time the maintenance guy used a dry vac and sprayed a bleach solution. The part that is named 'Disposal' under the sink obviously needs to be cleaned out. I had to use a vinegar solution to get rid of some of the smell.
