In 2023 somebody approached our home wearing an Xcel Energy Electric Vest stating that they were from clean choice, energy solar in which I told them that I was really apprehensive about joining a solar farm because I have heard terrible stories about overcharges, I voiced my concern to him regarding being overcharged as I had heard stories Then I didnt hear anything for quite some for eight months nothing And then in November, I received a bill for 30 days of service that was for $750. I did not receive anything from Clean choice energy For a couple of months after I had called and requested That I be canceled from the program, and I believed that somebody from clean choice Energy canceled me from the program.. Well, that was misleading because they didnt so then April came along and I received a bill from a company called perch energy and yet again I called and I asked why am I still enrolled in this when I requested cancellation in NOVEMBER! And the person that I spoke to said that they were very sorry and that they would be sure that they put in a request for cancellation So from April all the way through to the end of July, I did not get anything at all in the mail or an email and then now today on July 31 I got a bill from perch energy- *********** for $1,715. So I called and I was informed that I had to get a hold of a different company to get billing information And yet again requested that this service be canceled for the fourth time! But the person said that they cant do it that I have to get a hold of ************ I have contacted my local *************************** pleading for them to help and they do nothing and tell me that I have to get a hold of perch and then I call perch and then perch tells me I need to get a hold of the other place and it lo and behold never gets me in contact with anyone! Nobody seems to be able to help me with this and the bill just keeps getting larger!!!

We will initiate a lawsuit (report to BBB) for slander, fraud, and embezzlement if we do not receive a transparent and honest answer to our questions:When will Perch commit to its promised 20% discount? We signed up over a year ago, and to date, nothing has been credited.Has Perch already received government grants? If Perch is not providing the promised service to the community, for which it is paid using taxpayer money, this constitutes a federal offense of fraud. When calling Perch: asked some questions, Perch decided not to answer and pretended the telephone connection was breaking up. This is unacceptable.

      FAQ

I completely disagree with Perch's response to the BBB. Their reply is full of lies and deceit. It's amusing how suddenly they send me the same email they sent to the BBB. This company is a scam, collecting government grants for promoting green energy without delivering any real service. For an entire year, they haven't done anything, only responding to my emails and calls twiceonce in June and again this week. I'm considering taking legal action against them and reporting them to the government and authorities. I wonder how many households have fallen for their scam. I have requested that Perch delete all data they have on our household, credit us what we are due, and never contact us again. Needless to say, we are extremely dissatisfied with Perch. They need to be stopped immediately.

Perch continues to make false statements. They did not contact me; in fact, I have instructed them not to call or contact us ever again. We do not want to speak to them or deal with them in any capacity. We want to cancel and void all agreements and contracts they have on file with/about us and for them to forget about us. The only thing we are interested in is the promised credit, in dollars, that Perch guaranteed. This company needs to be stopped as they are government-funded and act fraudulently. BBB, please be aware that this company is a scam, and their AI-generated responses to complaints are just shameful. We are taking other steps and consider reporting this company to the government and take other legal measures.

I never agreed to services when a representative came to my house. After they left, I got an email welcoming me and called them right away telling them that their representative signed me up and I never agreed to it. They apologized and said they would take care of it and address the issue with the sales person. I never heard from anyone again until several months later they started sending me a bill. I refuse to pay for anything I never agreed to. They apologized on the phone and stated they would not be contacting me anymore... however, they haven't stopped. Please help. FAQ
I contacted the company in July to tell them I wanted to get out of the perch solar community share when I discovered that I had $1600 of credit with ************** $1600 credit is money. I was OVERCHARGES on my bill. That is a lot of money  to stock pile. I understand solar farms make less in the winter, but  dont want to help them with their business model.  I called 1 or 2 times a month, since July approximately eight calls in total. A manager would always call me back to tell me the same thing it will take time.  I called ************* several times and they verified for me that it only takes one single form a schedule Z. So perch was dragging their feet to keep me on the solar farm as long as possible. Two days after filing my claim, I was finally released from PERCH!! This is about the electric company RGE, I haven't had a **** in 2 months and they told me it's because we signed up for a solar company which we did not. The customer service person was so rude and basically threatened to shut our electric off even though i don't have a **** with them. The solar park isn't even active but rge refuses to correct our account and get it back active so i can pay my **** again so i can pay it. I've never been late with them ever and for them not to do what they should to take care of it when it wasn't our fault really makes me mad and i deserve an apology or a discount because it's not our fault.
