If I can give no stars I would. I was so mistreated by the service manager. I brought my car there because the driver door proximity sensor did stop working. By the end of the day the fellow who toke my key call me saying that the technician found that my wires was messed up by someone and that is why my proximity sensor doesn't work, he add that at this point he cannot open a claim with my extended warranty because the problem was caused by someone else and the fix will be $500 i asked him what will be done and the response was we will fix the wires. Was when i told him i don't belive the wires was messed by someone and i declined the $500 service because was no explanation what will be done. The only explanation they give me was that the wiring inside my door was all bad, because allegedly someone's was ther and messed up everything, but no pictures or videos, on this day an age where you carry the camera inside your pocket an its with you all the time, even the worse cell phone has cameras. Next day I went to get my car and the service manager was the one who came to me after the initial fellow start to help me, and i asked him what was the problem, but he cannot answer just saying someone was inside my driver door and messed up all the wires. I keep insisting that everything was working fine until my proximity sensor stopped working, but he doesn't accept my explanation that no one did messed up the wires like he claimed.at this point he start to shout GET OUT OF MY STORE AND NEVER COME BACK. I told him to give me my f key so I can leave, I start to walk out and he was following me towards the door shouting NEVER COME BACK IN HERE I had the door open I did stop anlook at him and ask what you are going to do? Touch me? Hes response was I WILL CALL THE POLICE, like I was a criminal. Just because I'm not white I belive was the reason for the discrimination.Business response

****************** dropped his 2019 Jeep Wrangler off for diagnosis on 5/22/2024 and service advisor ************************* took care of his vehicle and advised him of the diagnostic fees. We had our master tech asset the issue at hand. While our tech diagnosed his vehicle it was noted that driver's door wire harness was compromised. It appeared that someone was in there prior, wire harness' appear to be added, wires were spliced into main harness, there was an open circuit - p125 - traced wires and found broken wires in harness. ***** contacted the customer to inform him of what was found and that his warranty company would not cover issue due to what we found. The customer at this time said ok to ***** on the phone, declining any repairs saying he will come pick up the vehicle. We got his vehicle back together and contacted him saying it was ready for pick up. The customer came in the next day and was met by a different advisor who was filling in for *****. The advisor performed his active delivery and ****************** met him with hostility, demanding we bring his vehicle in immediately and show him the wire harness. I stepped in and said sir, please do not yell at our staff, we cannot just drop everything at this time to bring your vehicle back in to show you what was found. We have it all typed out for you; it will be $159 today for the diagnostic. He said he would not pay; I have a warranty. He then continued to raise his voice and shouting profanities at me, calling me a F****** A**** I then responded to him telling him to leave. He continued on his tirade as he walked to the door. He then stood at the entranced and continued to shout profanities and I responded if you don't leave, I will call the police. I then started to walk towards the door and that's when ****************** said come on touch me, touch me!! I then raised my voice telling him again to leave or I'm calling the police. At no time did ****************** ethnicities play a factor at all. My 2 stepdaughters are mixed race.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE ON HOW MUCH LIES THIS SO CALL MANAGER ITS SAYING. He never told me anything about pay any bill. He never described to me the issue with my car. I guess im crazy, base on his answer. he totally lost his temper and scream at me to get out of his store and never come back. The profanity and raised my voice came after he started to mistreat me. I don't belive he knows that the uber driver was ther and did witnesses all the encounter. I can say comfortably he's a lying and none, I mean none of he's statement is far from the true. If needed I can get in touch with the uber driver at any time needed in order to provide the true about the encounter. I feel so sorry for this person not being able to take responsibility for his actions. Sad very sad.Business response

I can state that my description of the issue at hand is 100% true. There were several employees that witness the interaction. That being said I'll extend an apology to ****************** and invite him back to Bedard **** to have his car fixed at the estimated price that the advisor quoted. Hopefully now we can have this matter be resolved, thank you for your time.

I'm continuously having issues with my car that I got purchased through Bedard's I still owe almost $13,000 on the loan and I have four more years to pay it off and all I've had is problem since 6 months after I got it I don't know exactly what I'm doing I've never had to do this beforeBusiness response

BBB spoke with Greg Bedard and he let us know that the problem is that the vehicle needs a foreign car specialist to fix his problem and it would most likely be covered under his warranty. He stated to the customer that they can not do it there and the customer took it to a local VW mechanic but they were unable to handle it also. Greg Bedard stated he is going to get with his service manager and find the right mechanic and then reach out to the customer.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: They wanted til after my warranty expired to do anything when I brought the car there multiple times for the timing chain issue nobody could figure it out. Well you shouldn't sell cars you can't service regardless of warranty. And come to find out they didn't replace everything to do with the timing chain like sprockets and phaser. And still charged me $2,000. for the work. And since they did that my car has been making a weird noise like a chain is loose or something. Probably due to all the parts not being replaced. So I contacted them again in regards to still having a issue and guess what my warranty on the new chain is expired too. So now I'm suppose to just hope it doesn't die on me at this point. Or they can pay to have the whole engine replaced for messing it up. They literally did the bare minimum work to get it to pass inspection that was it. In the attachment you can see everything they replaced nothing in there says they replaced my sprockets or my phasers so yeah they did the bare minimum of work for it to pass inspection and now I can't even have it looked at again without having to pay $2,000 more dollars if it needs to be fixed or replaced again because the warranty on the new one expired after 6,000 miles they don't tell you this stuff I'm supposed to just know this stuff didn't tell me when it expired they didn't tell me when the warranty was up on it either time the first time they didn't say oh at 53,000 Miles your warranty expires I'm supposed to just know that well unfortunately I don't because this is my first time ever having a car that I actually paid for myself or got a loan for and I'm paying it back so yeah I'm driving a car or trying to drive a car and paying $350 a month for a car that's probably going to die on me in the next 2 months so what do I do with the other 13,000 that I owe on it keep paying on a car that I can't drive because they messed up. And the whole oil situation me thinking they put the wrong oil in is all because when I called and said can you make sure it's full synthetic because I don't think they put it in the last time the girls like oh did you ask them to I'm not the mechanic you are if I didn't look in the manual I wouldn't have known that it took full synthetic so yeah if they put conventional oil in this car that's on them not me. I've been having nothing but problems since I left that place 6 months after I got the car and I've only had it for 2 years and I still have 4 years of payments for something that I'm not going to be able to drive for the next 4 years

And to clarify I did bring it to a Volkswagen place they couldn't tell me exactly what was wrong with it either until I went back to them with a code that actually told me what was wrong with it I went there and told them what I think was wrong with it and therefore like oh yeah that's the problem so then I go back to Bedard's and get charged $2,000 to replace something because I'm 3,000* miles over the warranty because nobody wanted to do anything 6,000 miles priorBusiness response

THIS IS CHAD BEDARD GENERAL SERVICE MANAGER AT BEDARD BROTHERS AUTO MSALES INC I AM EMAILING YOU IN REGARDS TO ID# ********, ISSUES WITH A **************************?
TO OUR KNOWLED0GE THE ISSUE WAS REPAIRED IN MARCH, AND HAS NOT RETURNED, LAST VISIT TO US WAS IN MAY 26TH FOR AN OIL CHANGE, WE REPLACED A TIMING CHAIN MARCH 2ND, AND NO ISSUES RETURNED.
