Two separate bills from 6/10/22, in the amounts of $39 and $176. The $39 was paid at the eye care visit in the office. Proof from HSA distribution history ($39, Chicopee eye care, dated 6/10/22). They then requested payment of an additional $176, but included the bill for the already paid and processed $39. The $176 was paid on 12/13/22. Proof of payment digital receipt and HSA distribution ($176, Dated 12/14/22). Now, 3/27/23, they are resending the bill for both the $39 (paid 6/10/22), and the $176 (paid 12/13/22). I would like them to check payment records and reach out to explain why I am being billed for the same appointment multiple times.Business response

After researching this matter,our records show that the patient had a total balance of $254.00 on the account. The patient made a payment of $39.00 on June 8, 2022, as well as another payment of $215.00 on March 29,2023. Since the account has been paid in full by the patient, the $176.00 submitted by Mr*********** will be refunded to Mr*********** There was some confusion regarding the $176.00 payment due to a different last name, so we apologize for this confusion. Please have Mr*********** call the office if he has any questions or concerns. Thank you.
