I called the J&J Heating last week because my air conditioning system stopped working. They said someone could come check it out on Friday, June 10th.They came and in a few minutes declared that my system needed to be fully replaced. We got on the phone with the company and they quoted me $6600.00 for a new system. I gave them a deposit of $2500.00 for the new system on my Etrade debit card (Receipt attached)After thinking about it over the weekend I decided to cancel it because it was too much money. I called first thing Monday morning and told them that I didn't want the system anymore. The man said they would issue me a refund.On Wednesday, June 15th, I checked my account and the refund was there, but it was short by $157.00. I thought there must be some kind of mistake and I called the company. The lady answering the phone said it was short because there was a service charge.At no time was a service charge ever mentioned or documented to me. I do not believe the service charge of $157 is fair.
