I bought a 2017 ************* in October of 2022. It's been nothing but problems and is constantly getting towed out of my yard on a flatbed.No matter how many times I give this car to Lahti's we can't seem to keep it operational.I dropped the car off on 11/9/2023 to have the engine replaced, which is ridiculous for a car with 55,000mi on it. I got the car back in the middle of January2024 and had it for about 5 days and it was back on a flatbed heading to Lahti's again. Something is wrong with the transmission now. It still has an expired inspection sticker from October of 2023 because it can't even stay running nevermind pass inspection.Absolutely ridiculous. I have to call them for updates on why this is taking so long there is zero communication. I need a car to get to work and live my life. Thankfully, it's covered by a warranty and Lahtis is doing the repairs at no expense to me. If there was no warranty, there is no doubt in my mind they would be happy to not help. I basically took out a $40,000 loan to get screwed once a month by this car. Will not recommend to anyone, and will never be doing business with Lahti's again.Customer response

In the last couple of weeks, ******************** reached out to me to let me know his concerns but to primarily clear the name of my Service Manager after he submitted a disparaging review to the manufacturer. It was my impression that he was generally satisfied with the service we are providing but frustrated with the situation and the vehicle purchase in general.
The vehicle in question is a 2017 vehicle that was purchased in October 2023. In 13 months, ******************** had driven the vehicle over 22,000 miles which is far above the average yearly miles of 13,500. We do not deny that he has had some issues, but he has not been without transportation (22,000 miles) and certainly would not qualify for a vehicle buyback by any standard.
Despite Mr. ********* continuous public criticism, we have remained faithful to our mission of resolving his issues. We did not build the vehicle. We are a service provider and we are doing the very best we can to resolve his issues- at no cost to him. We are not perfect and it doesnt benefit us to frustrate a customer. We will continue to work diligently to resolve any issues he may have.

I am rejecting this response because:The vehicle was not purchased in October of 2023. It was October of 2022. 22,000 miles should not be a selling point on whether or not the dealership takes part in customer service. I have to call for updates on why my car is never working there is zero communication and its being held for months on end.
The fact of the matter is that a car with 55,000miles on it needed it's engine replaced. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand the dealership does not manufacture the vehicles and I don't hold it against them..
This vehicle is on a flatbed time and time again and I haven't even had it since November of 2023. It is now February 2024.
I'm just hoping there is something that can be done.

Customer is correct regarding my typo of 2023 vs 2022. However, it was still 13 months (October 2022- November 2023) and driven approximately 22k miles. We will continue doing the best we can to complete the repair as previously stated.Customer response

One of the employees, I believe his name is Jay or "JC"? SPECIFICALLY said to me: "Technically we don't have to do anything because you already signed and it's your car".
Yes I was in the dealership throwing a loud fit, but only because of how awful I've been treated. They don't respect business. Moreover, the don't respect customers that were willing to return.
If this isn't a testimony to what I'm dealing with then I'm going to get a lawyer.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Still recieved absolutely no communication on what is going on with my car. I dropped it off Novemeber 9th 2023. Is there a date of when you expect to finish the job? Will I be able to get an inspection sticker? Are you examining the whole vehicle to ensure it won't keep falling apart? Am I asking too much when requesting a little transparency on the state of my cars repair?

While driving on the highway ****************************************************************** the driveline. Weve had a car for approximately 13 days and in that amount of time the noise has not gone away and we also noticed that the transmission has a harsh downshift and upshift. My wife was driving the Jeep by herself and the RPMs raced up very high she did not know what to do so she pulled the jeep over on the side of the road and shut it off. When she started the jeep back up it seem to drive the way it has been since then with the harsh shifting.She is now very nervous about driving the jeep. The dealership told us that the noise in the drive line is normal I went for a road test with them and they told me that that noise is normal when I know that it is not. The vibration And noise have been there since the beginning and now the transmission seems to be downshifting and upshifting very harshly.
