Damage to the dining room floor sue to the worker not properly installing the air constriction . In June *** ****** installed it but not properly. I have a witness to the fact it was not installed properly. He came back and tried to install it again , and again it was not installed properly. Within the summer months when we received downpours of rain , the rain came in through the sides of the air conditioner and damaged the dining room floor. Then in August 20th ***** came to the house to assess the damage but tried to say that it was not due to the installation of the air conditioner. But he did install the air conditioner correctly on that day , he taped up the sides so the water could not seep in anymore. ***** actually spoke to the property manager, ****** Cremly ,and tried to say that it was not due to their negligence but actually it was. This was confirmed and witnessed by my personal care assistant. His worker , *** ****** , broke the leg off of an elephant that was given to me by my Aunt who had passed away. He then put the elephant in a tote so I could not find it . He broke the handle off one of my totes that cost $25 and he also broke an over the toilet tank cabinet. ***** has no decided that he doesnt want to do any business with me anymore and I believe that it is due to that fact he does not want to admit the work done by his worker was inadequate , so he decided to terminate his interactions with me as a client.

We are writing to address the complaint submitted regarding the installation of an air conditioning unit and the subsequent termination of our services.
After careful consideration, we decided to discontinue our services due to the consistently disrespectful and rude behavior exhibited by the client toward our staff. We received multiple complaints from our employees about the client's demeanor and conduct during our engagements, which created a hostile and unproductive working environment.
Regarding the specific issue raised in the complaint, we firmly deny any responsibility for the alleged damage to the dining room floor. The damage cited was pre-existing, as confirmed by the client's landlord, and unrelated to our work. Furthermore, the claims regarding improper installation of the air conditioning unit and other damage are unfounded and have no basis in fact. Despite our repeated attempts to address any concerns, the client continued to make unreasonable demands and accusations.
We stand by the professionalism of our team and the quality of our work.
      Sincerely,
      ***** - Bio Pro Boston

      FAQ

      Regards,

My personal care assistant (******* ****) verified that the air conditioner was put in improperly because when ***** came on August 28th and Mr **** came on 12 noon the same day he was the one who noticed that ***** put the air conditioner in incorrectly due to the fact that the Bio Pro employee did not put it in correctly in the beginning. Before I moved in the dining room floor was perfect. Due to the fact that it rained between June and August and the air conditioner was installed incorrectly my home maker never noticed water was on the floor. ****** the property manager never agreed to the fact that the dining room floor was damaged when I moved in. This is what ***** tried to explain to her, and yes Bio pro is responsible for repairing the floor due to the improper installation of the air conditioner. I have a notarized letter from Mr. **** which verifies this information which will be provided forthwith. ***** is the one who put tape around the accordions around the side of the air conditioner because air was coming through on Wednesday the 28th, this indicates that the installation of the air conditioner was not done correctly.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,
Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. I appreciate the opportunity to respond and clarify the situation.
After reviewing the complaint from ******************* like to provide a thorough response addressing each point raised:
Air Conditioner Installation and Floor Damage:
The air conditioning unit mentioned in the complaint was installed as per the scope of our services. When I returned to reassess the installation on August 20th, I found that the water damage to the dining room floor was not caused by improper installation but likely by external factors beyond our control. Regardless, I did make adjustments to ensure the air conditioner was fully secure and taped up the sides to prevent any potential future issues.
      Damaged Items:
I understand that Mr. *********** claims some personal items were damaged, including a leg from a figurine, a tote handle, and an over-the-toilet tank cabinet. During our initial and follow-up visits, no such damages were reported to us on-site. We always encourage clients to inform us immediately if any damage occurs so that we can resolve it promptly. If these claims had been raised at the time, we would have addressed them.
      Termination of Services:
It is correct that after my follow-up visit on August 20th, I decided to no longer continue business with Mr. ************ This decision was made due to irreconcilable differences and ongoing communication challenges, which made it difficult to maintain a professional working relationship. It was not related to the quality of work provided but rather a reflection of the mutual expectations not being met.
Bio Pro Boston always aims to provide the highest level of service and resolve any issues that arise. However, in this case, we firmly believe the work conducted was done properly and any damages were not a result of our negligence. We also find it necessary to make decisions that allow us to work in environments where our efforts are valued and appreciated.
Thank you for allowing me to provide this response, and I hope this clarifies our position on the matter.
      Best regards,
      ***** ***********

Mr *********** actually has letters from his personal care assistant and a friend that indicate that the air conditioners were not put in properly. Mr. *********** and his friend put the air conditioner in his bedroom correctly and that air conditioner did not produce any rain coming in from it whatsoever.  ******* ***** noticed that the air conditioner in the dining room was leaning forward as opposed to leaning backwards, this means that if the air conditioner is tilted inward then the rain will come into the house . If the air conditioner is tilted outward then the rain will drain outside . Ms ***** and Mr. ***** have letters noting this and the letters have been notarized.

The reason why Mr. ********** did not notify you immediately about the employee is because he was in fear of losing his job. He did report these things were broken prior to his departure.

Mr. *********** feels as though your employee was not man enough to admit that he broke those items , but eventually he did admit to him that he broke them .
