2015 Acura RDX transmission issues purchased on 12/02/2023 Was told that they were going to fix all the issues with car suspension issues interior consult was loose and unsecured. I was afraid that that center console being loose that at any time if I had to make a sudden stop it would go flying and possibly hit my kids. they had from November 15th till December 2nd to fix those issues but they had not fixed them I drove it home still had the suspension issue and including issues with the transmission slipping having trouble shifting gears it almost stalled on me. so I took it back December 3rd to fix the issues I then had gone back over 3 times and there was still issues with shifting including the last time I picked it up car would not shift into reverse and the sales manager agreed that that was over 3 times attempting to fix it I do not feel safe taking this car home I want to get my money back and they refuse to consider it a lemonBusiness response

Approximately one month ago I purchased a 2010 ****** Tribeca from Elite preowned auto since that time. It has been in the shop for repairs consisting but not limited to sensors that were allegedly replaced twice. They are not wanting to help me as evidence by ***** text, which I have, it is currently sitting on five codes two of which are related to the transmission. This car has been in the shop approximately a week and a half in total since Ive had it I would like at least my money back for the down payment as I think this is fair and impartial , I believe this is a lemon as per order of ************* lawBusiness response

We sold this vehicle on Sept 25 2023 and at the time of sale had ******* miles on it. rthe customer took it for the ********** Inspection which it failed for emissions. Customer contacted us and we repaired the failure at NO CHARGE and returned vehicle to customer who the had it re-inspected at which time the vehicle passed the State Inspection. We have financially assisted the customer with other upgrades they wanted as well. The issue now could possibly be from other modifications the customer has made to this vehicle. I don't feel we have done anything wrong or malicious.Initial Complaint

3/8/2023 purchased a 2013 ******* Veracruz. 3/10 picked up automobile late afternoon. 4 miles into ride home the check engine light came on and the front wheels and steering wheel started shaking. This automobile was purchased by me but was for my 18-year-old son who was driving. He pulled over and we swapped vehicles. I continued to drive the car home approximately 20 miles. *** check engine light remained ON, and the front wheels and steering wheel continued to shake the whole ride. I texted the salesman as soon as I arrived home to inform him that I would be returning the car the next day. 3/11 I drove the car to work check engine light ON and wheels and steering wheel shaking for whole ride approximately 30 miles. at the completion of my workday, I returned to the dealership to return the car and the salesman attempted to get me to let him fix the car. I explained to him that he had the car on his used car lot for quite some time, according to him a year and in that time, he did not fix the car and I was dissatisfied and wanted a refund. He told me the only issue was the title had been sent to the *** and when I received the title to return to the dealership and he would purchase the vehicle from me. I received the title in the mail Saturday 4/22. Monday 4/24 I returned to the dealership with title in hand and he said he would call and talk to the owner and for me to call him the following day. I called the following day no answer. I returned to the dealership 4/26 and the salesman told me the owner would not purchase the car back from me and give him a week to sell or wholesale the car. I returned the following Wednesday 5/3. Car was still on lot unsold and not repaired either. ******** told me my only option was to wait for him to sell the car or sell it on my own. I would not be comfortable selling this unsafe car to someone. I asked for the owner's name and number and was denied due to his illness. He has the car at the dealership, and I have the title.Business response

We are in the process of resolving this issue with *******. He purchased a
2013 ******* Veracruz for ******. He called me a few hours after he purchased
the car and said he was having issues and wanted his money back. With the
lemon law in MA we have 3 times to try to make the car right. We agreed to fix
the car and he'll take it. It's going in the shop today.

I purchased a 2011 ****** Corolla from Elite Auto 4/3/2023. This was not my first choice car but one I felt pressured to buy due to my circumstances. I went to register the car and was told I did not have the Title in the paperwork I was given via the dealership. I had been guaranteed by the dealer via text that I was 100% all set. I contacted the dealership via text and I stopped by the dealership the same day. I left a note with the new mechanic and he promised to deliver the message. When I arrived at the dealership the door was locked and no one was in the area even though it was after there opening time. This whole process has caused me issues at work due to the amount of phone time I have had to do to get this taken care of. I just need the title so I can register the car. I also contacted the finance company and have not heard back from them either. In the first week I have had to have an oil change due to the light popping on saying work needed, replace the license plate lights and windshield wipers. Those 3 things should not have needed to be done in the first week of ownership. 2 of them being things that would fail an inspection.Business response

******************* bought the most reliable car available to her with her credit history.
She financed the car, so the lender holds the title until the car is paid off. As for the
other issues she had, we would have been happy to take care of them, free of
charge.
We take pride in treating our customers right and in this case, will be sending
her a check for $107.00. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I purchased a **** ********************* from Elite Pre-owned, with a 30 day warranty and a verbal guarantee that they stand by their sales . The vehicle did not pass the inspection. I returned to them with the failed sticker and paperwork, it was an exhaust leak. They said they would fix it. It took them 3 weeks. When it was fixed I took it for an inspection, though the machine at the inspection station was broken down they said it was ok and gave me a sticker. I called **** and told him the engine light was on. He told me to bring it down and he would have a look. My mother brought the car down to them and the garage **** sent her to said they couldn't look at it until Jan. 12th. **** asked her to just bring it back to them and they would fix it. She did. They said the code was a misfire cylinder 4 and changed the spark plug and told her it was fine. As soon as she left, she called **** and told him the engine light was on and blinking again. He told her to bring it back down on Monday. On Thursday the car stopped running while I was on the highway. My mother called **** for me as I waited for AAA to get me off the highway. He was very sick and told her to have it towed to the local shop. She did. He paid for the shop to look at it they told me the engine was gone. **** had the car towed to his lot in Peabody. He has the car and my money and won't give my money back. I do not want another car from them. They've had the car for over a month and just keep telling me they'll find a replacement and won't give me my money. I sent them an email this morning asking to give me my money by Thursday.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
Elite Pre-Owned Auto continued to threaten my mother because of her public negative review of their company on Google.They guaranteed a cashable check only if she removed the review. She took it down and they gave me a check. It cleared the bank.
They are not a company anyone should do buisness with.
