As a move manager. I have worked with many moving companies for office and lab relocations, but this was my first-time using Olympia Movers, and I highly recommend them. **** ********* was attentive to our needs and understood the complexities of the lab move, accommodating a schedule that involved five separate moves for the same project. The crew was professional, communicative, and efficient, consistently exceeding our expectations. On Tuesday November 21,2023,a crew from your company was sent to our school, ************************************************ in ******** South End.They delivered and installed 6 large storage cabinets. The quality of the work was superb from beginning to end. They were professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Every member of the crew was on task. When they arrived and delivered the first cabinet we informed them that they needed to be anchored to the wall for safety reasons. They measured and designed the best way to make sure the cabinets were not only anchored but leveled as well. They left to get the materials needed to do the job properly. The crew returned with ALL of the equipment and tools needed to do a PERFECT job. ******************* and the rest of the crew did not cut corners or settled for mediocre work. Instead they made sure that the cabinets were safely anchored, leveled and centered to the long wall. I can not thank them enough. It is refreshing to have work like this be done. After 20 years in the military, I have moved more than a few times, and I was so impressed with ************************ (Dre) and ***, that I wanted to make sure to recommend them to anyone who would listen.I just moved to an apartment where you have to walk up two flights of pretty narrow) stairs just to get to my front door, then another pair of (very narrow) stairs inside my apartment.Not a dent or scratch in the walls, nothing dropped - not even my treadmill!!! I couldn't help but feel guilty watching them carrying all my stuff on their backs, and I sure noticed how - no matter how heavy it was, no matter how tired they looked (yeah, there were a couple of loads where you'd have to be blind to not see the effort it took), they ALWAYS set my stuff down gently.And before they left, they helped me assemble the stuff I needed/wanted help with, helped me unbox the things I wanted unboxed, etc. All without ******* me in the slightest. They were simply awesome!!!

I cannot recommend Olympia enough!! I had a very complicated situation with an ex that lead to using Olympia's moving and storage option for about a year and half. The team responded quickly to my initial inquiry for a last minute estimate. The estimate video walkthrough itself was thorough and quick. The movers were prompt, kind, and efficient. I even had to make a last minute change to the move the day of and they all made it happen - between the movers and the moving coordinator.Unfortunately, the situation with my ex escalated to a legal matter but **** @ Olympia supported me through it. **** was with me from day 1 doing the video estimate until the final clean out and disposal of the contents of the storage unit which, Olympia also handled as well! I will definitely use Olympia's services in the future and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I have moved a LOT and this was by far the best experience ever. From day one J was on top of every detail via phone and email, coordinating between us, the crew and the owner of our house. R, K, A and N did an outstanding job with the packing for two full days and then T and * joined them for the two moving days. I've never experienced such professional and polite and competent movers. If I had a choice I'd never work with anyone else again. Ten stars if I could give them!

We hired them for a move and storage of a full house. The entire company is very disorganized. They did a walk-through and gave us a quote and planned what they would need to transport our belongings, store things, then finish the move. There was terrible communication from the beginning. We would call and they would say someone would get back to us the next day and it would never happen. There were charges put on our credit card that were not discussed (and mostly later revoked, but it was weird and sneaky and we had to fight them over and over....hours wasted on the phone or waiting for a call).On the day of the move the movers complained about how much there was, insisted they needed another truck (so our cost went up). Some of the workers were nice and very good, but the leader was rude, and reckless. Belongings and walls were unnecessarily damaged. He even crashed one truck into another.Getting compensation for damaged items was difficult. There were all sorts of rules and exceptions that materialized out of nowhere. They blamed us for using the wrong boxes and doing some packing ourselves.I would never use this company again.

We have spoken with the internal stakeholders and are now in a position to respond to your specific concerns:Communication: Between the sales representative and the coordinator it looks like there was more than **************************************************************** addition, the two team members you worked with have exceptional communication skills. This said, it was suggested that perhaps you are referring to questions that came up regarding the billing, which required the involvement of the accounting team. We apologize if there were delays or inefficiencies in our responsiveness.Charges: Your move had a number of component pieces (including storage), which translates into separate charges on your card. Perhaps some of the charges required clarification, however your assertion of mysterious unexplained charges implies that your card was being charged arbitrarily which is certainly not the case. We have (re)reviewed the charges, and the account appears in order.Resources and Billing: The shipment was very tight with respect to space requirements. We would also note that estimating capacity is not an exact science. Ultimately, the crew did use an additional truck and two additional men, however (as I believe you are aware), you were not charged for their time or for the truck (as referenced on your invoice issued on 8/10 and a supplemental credit invoice from 9/1).Crew Performance: The team that serviced your move is exceptional; as measured by net promoter scores, claims ratios, and the nature and scope of the projects that they have successfully completed. Clearly, it is your perspective that is relevant in this context, but from an objective/numerical standpoint the members of your team are very good at their jobs and we stand by their record. Claims Settlement: The mandate for the claims department is to settle claims fairly, quickly and as per contractual, state, and/or federal guidelines. The rules of engagement and the coverage options selected are based upon legal requirements and industry best practices. As referenced in our communications with you, items that are designated as packed by owner, are not covered unless there are signs of significant mishandling. The justification is because the strength and integrity of a box comes from the inside and it is one of the reasons that clients will often elect to have Olympia pack some or all of their fragile items. There is no way of validating how the items were packed, nor the condition of the items prior to being packed. Again, this is a defined industry standard and not an Olympia exception.We are sorry that your experience did not meet expectations. We put a lot of time, resources and energy into process and training. Our reputation is built on our service levels, and we are very proud of our record and reputation. In this case, it appears we failed to deliver a positive experience for your family.Again, on behalf of the team, we would like to apologize and wish you the best in your new home.

We used Olympia Moving for and in town move today and had just the best experience! The movers were so friendly and accommodating when we asked questions or made suggestions. They assembled and disassembled a complex loft bed with ease and accuracy. They moved our entire house in approximately 4ish hours - we were in awe! However their professionalism and demeanor was most impressive! Trust me - we shopped around for movers and the price was competitive and fair but definitely well spent. Use Olympia movers!!!!
