I have been a patient here for almost three years and I think its time to find a new OBGYN. My only issue is the billing department and the ***** ********** billing department. I have to call on every single bill because they are all wrong. I have never in my life been charged so much and had so many issues getting bills resolved. I have had my last issue with them. In 2022 a bill for the same thing I had done in 2024 went from about $38.58 to $459. I have different insurance since then but its better, top tier because I am pregnant. Now I am wondering if the charges are discriminatory against pregnant women because what I had done is for a very basic femal infection test. This test in all my life, 33 years has never been so astronomically high, and believe me I have had this a few times in my life before I was pregnant.

Good afternoon.  Due to HIPAA, I am not able to confirm if this individual is a patient at *****.  Our Billing Department is typically very responsive and very patient friendly.  I do not know the details behind the bill amounts being quoted.  Many times, it is a matter of 1. the procedure/visit/test the patient had along with: 2. the amount their insurance company allows for the procedure/visit/test and, 3. how their particular insurance pays (some pay in full, some require patients to meet an annual deductible - which is the patient's out of pocket responsibility). In other words, the same visit/test/procedure performed two years ago could result in a different out of pocket cost for a patient depending upon how much remains on their insurance deductible for the year.   Also, insurance companies' allowable amounts always change over time.

Any issues with ***** Diagnostics billing is out of our hands as they are an independent entity separate from ***** and we do not have access to their billing.

I am exhausted and not happy with my service from this company. My doctor in the network prescribed me medication that she's been trying to put me on for years. And expressed her frustrations with me when I told her I removed myself off of it because I didn't like how it made me feel. Last year I noticed that they had my wrong address in the system when I went to pick up my medication from the pharmacy so when I went into my appointment, the first thing I did was tell the receptionist to change my address and she showed me she did. However, I keep getting bills and all of my medical information sent to the wrong address. I tried to call them about a bill they said I didn't pay yet and about them sending my information to the wrong address, left a voicemail and no one called me back. However an hour later when I went to look up my bill online again it was reduced. Today I received a text from a family member letting me know the OBGYN sent me more mail to the wrong address and once again violating my HIPPA rights.
