Purchased a vehicle from Hybrid and Gas Automative and was assured in writing that all issues in regards to a catalytic converter engine light would be fixed. After two visits the engine light came back on immediately both times. Dealership eventually cut off all contact with me, won’t tell me when to expect my tags, and will not transfer me the title. I purchased the car outright.

Spoke with Amir, was told car was in very good / excellent condition and needed to supply deposit to hold vehicle. Confirmed vehicle has all parts and accessories except single missing key fob. I paid a deposit on the vehicle over phone, was told the deposit was just a HOLD on the card and would be subsequently released upon purchase of the vehicle. This appears to have been some bait and switch tactic to collect money and charge customers a fee which they fail to refund at all. I drove from Newark Delware all the way to to Aberdeen MD (45 minutes) with my mother (70 years old) When I came in to purchase the vehicle I immediately saw it was not in very good / excellent condition, the vehicle was in fair / poor condition and also in a recent accident which was not reported to ******. The photos of the vehicle did not match the website listing, there was major damage to the front end of the vehicle, there was missing interior accessories and the interior was in much worse shape than pictured. On the outside there was evidence of a recent accident along with painting Amir would not come to any agreement on reduction of price and asked me politely to leave, was told that refund would be processed immediately. I waited several days and never saw my refund to my ******** *******. Also reported to ****** ****** received your case. Use this reference number for follow up: #********.

In response to your complaint, the vehicle was test driven and sold as-is, after the car was brought back we payed and covered the expenses of the repairs, not the customer. The car was properly repaired and it was stored at the repair shop ready to be picked up but the customer delayed to do so. The customer should be grateful that we went ahead and fully paid for all the repairs of this vehicle after it was brought back to us. This is a used vehicle being sold as-is.

On 5/21/22 my husband and I traveled to Maryland to look at a 2010 CRV LX 4WD from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was listed 8500.00$. We took the car for a quick test drive and we when got back my husband talked to AMIR and asked him about he history of the car, my husband clearly stated he didn't want to buy a CRV that has any major issues such as engine, transmission or catalytic converter problems. he stated as well about getting the car home and check engine light pops on. He stated CRV was in perfect condition and everything work. we put 3,300.00$ and came back 5/27/22 with a certified check for 7,000,00$. the other 1,300.00$ was a additional engine warranty for my own piece of mind. That night the check engine came on, I Immediately called AMIR and explain that the check engine light came on and I wasn't pleased about it. I told him that I would call the next day when I have the CRV put on a diagnostic machine and it came up with the code of a bad catalytic converter "CC". AMIR assured me tat he would take care of his problem and that he would get ahold of me in a few days. After countless weeks because of our work schedule and his other repairs he had , we finally dropped the CRV off, it wasn't repaired until almost another month due to he stated that his guy ordered the wrong part not once but TWICE. After picking up the CRV I sent AMIR there was a rattling noise coming from the car. HE never replied. I had replaced other parts but rattling continued. took CRV to Meineke and they stated that a C,C was replaced and is new but stated the CC is a universal and that the pipe with it is too big and is banging on the shaft of the car and that's the rattling. they tightened up some bolts and stated if rattling continues that correct CC should be installed properly. I have run out of patience and I don't have the time to keep leaving the state to take this CRV to try to get it done correctly. I shouldn't have to spend no money correcting this problem. and I will dispute this with my credit card and try to get some of my money to fix properly.
