In September of 2022, I contacted Dovetail Restoration to repair all of my wood furniture that had been damaged in a move. I was sent an estimate and I went with Dovetail. Todd came to my apartment to inspect the items, addressing the ease to repair the most damaged item - a teak banquette. The items were picked up and remained with Dovetail Restoration for approximately 9 months (I didn't get anything back until June 2023). After contacting Todd and describing the oversight, he responded that he had fixed the banquette, though I showed him photos of the piece after it was returned to me that matched the images I sent to him before the item(s) were picked up from me. ...unfortunately, I can still produce images proving the piece remained in it's original, decrepit state. The option I was given by Todd, was to yet again - have the item picked up, delivered to him where he would repair it. I declined this offer for a couple of reasons: 1. My lease was ending in less than three months and I was not planning on staying in Baltimore 2.He had possession of my furniture for nearly half of my lease already After resettling in a different State, I reached out to Todd to request a refund for the item not repaired. In my last telecommunication with him, as he responded he laughed – and said he would look into it. I have not heard back from him to date and the banquette is still in it's damaged state.Business response

Upon delivery, Mr. ***** contacted me to say that there were thing not don and he was not happy with the result. I offered to bring it back to our shop to take care of whatever was missed.
He responded that he did not want to be bothered with doing anything further and that he was leaving town and would take care of it at his next location. He then called here a few weeks demanding a refund. An email was sent out today to see where the refund can be sent. The amount for the work charged was $360.
