I had two tattoos created on each of my two knees on January 19, 2022 and February 16, 2022 respectively. The cost for the two tattoos ($500) was paid in full prior to the creation of the first tattoo with the final installment being paid on January 19, 2022. The artist for both tattoos was Jason *******. With tips it cost me $700. The first tattoo went well even though he put dots where I told him not to. The second knee was awful. He did not follow the stencil so it isn't shaped the same as the first knee. He used black instead of white ink and when I questioned him he lied to my face while I was still in the shop and said it was white but swollen... It is still black months later while the first is white. The quality is also extremely different with only line work and NO shading. When I texted him about the issue he replied but offer no solution. So I contacted the business owner. He told me that he would "take a look" and to come in that tues. Or wed. He said come by anytime, no set time or anything. I wasn't able to make tues. So I call wed before I headed over and was met with rage and abuse. He screamed at me on the phone saying I missed an appointment I wasn't even aware of. That he was going to tattoo me tues! He never made me aware of this and it was so soon after the tattoo I didnt think he was able to tattoo me without health risks. When I tried calmly trying to find a solution he cusses me out more and hung up. I tried getting a refund but the business has not offered me a solution still! The tattoos I hired them for were never completed. They were done wrong in accordance to my own artwork I brought in. And now I am battling breast cancer and a blood clot so I will not be able to have it fixed until I am better. This has led me to extreme emotional and psychological trauma. I have body image issues now and cannot wear shorts. The quality is so horrible its hard to look at without crying. I waited for 7 years for this tattoo.. I'd like a refundBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/06/29) */ I'm addressing the complaint filed to your office by Ms. *******. I've discussed this complaint with the artist Jason *******. It's imperative that clients remain as still as possible during the tattoo process. Ms. ******* was told several times(more than 5)that she had to sit still in order to receive the desired product. Not only did she not sit well but she passed *** during the process. This doesn't typically happen but we are accustomed to handle and after she regained consciousness it was impossible to finish the design. At that point Mr. ******* scheduled her to come backon a different day to finish.Initially Ms ******* agreed to wait until Mr Hamricks schedule opened which happened to be over a month. The following day Ms ******* texted Mr ******* several times and try to get in sooner to finish. It was at this point where upon she called the shop and talked to me personally and we agreed to have her come in the following Tuesday and I would finish her design at no cost to her. Not only did Ms. ******* fail to show but didn't have the courtesy to phone and let me know she couldn't make the appointment. Furthermore if Ms. ******* was as dissatisfied as she claims why did she give Mr. *******$50 tip and me $20.We take our work very serious and if you require further info please call XXX-XXX-XXXX XX-X tue-sat .Sean (owner) Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/07/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) In regards to the response from absolute tattoo and body piercing: I'd first like to elaborate on a few key points the owner has stated but not explained properly, I assume in an attempt to not rectify a wrong commited by his own establishment. Firstly, in regards to passing out. I would like to refer to their surveillance footage inside the shop for proof: in the beginning of the tattoo within the first 3 minutes I began to feel faint and warned them of this before any serious work was started. And Jason stopped tattooing me at that point. I did not pass *** with a needle on my skin so this would not be a reason for the tattoo to look as disfigured as it is. When I woke up I asked if I should leave, the owner and jason assured me I would be fine that this has happened before and brought me water etc to prepare me for more tattooing. I simply trusted the professionals. I'm not a tattoo expert by any means so I trusted their words. Which was a mistake. Secondly, there was much more pain associated with my left knee then the right. Jason also was going extremely fast (he only took 2 hours on my left knee as compared to the close to 5 hours on my right knee) and I did have a difficult time due to the pain. Im sure our discussion was caught on camera. I asked jason multiple times if we should stop and I should come back. Each time he assured me that he was able to do the work and even stated that he had worked on a special needs gentlemen who couldnt stop moving and that I would be fine. I asked multiple times. At no point did they ever ask me to come back due to movement, passing out or otherwise. The next appointment was meant for touch ups only. So this is a blatent lie from the establishment. Another lie was the wrong color ink. Regardless of movement the wrong color ink was used. Movement does not equate to the wrong color scaring my body. It should also be on camera that I asked jason where any white was used, he told me it was grey and would fade. There clearly was no white used at all. Yet another lie told to me by this establishment. As for the appointment with the owner on tuesday : the discussion of tattooing my skin "at no cost to me" never happened as I stated before. The owner asked me to come by Tuesday or Wednesday but NEVER stated he would be tattooing me. He made it seem as if I were coming by for him to look at it but failed to explain what steps he would be taking to make it right. He never gave me an actual appointment, set date or time or solution. How can I miss an appointment I wasn't even aware was happening? And when I did call to let him know I was coming Wednesday to stop by he verbally assaulted and abused me on the phone, screaming at me and cussing at me. No business owner should act that way. He made me fearful for my life of what he might do to me if I showed up there. Furthermore I tipped so kindly because they had me believe a lie that in a few days my tattoo would look how I wanted and paid for. At the time I had felt like they had provided me a service. Which I now know was all a lie and I regret ever setting foot in the establishment. I'd simply like my refund so I can move on and have my skin fixed at an establishment that wont lie to save its face at the cost of scaring its customers. So I can begin the long process of removal and fixing the damage done by absolute tattoo and body piercing and maybe one day be able to not have body image issues because of this experience. Not only did they disfigure my body and scar me; they caused me severe psychological and body image issues and also refuse to rectify the situation. Please... I just want my refund and to be done with this horrible experience... Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2022/07/14) */ to whom it may concern I have nothing to add as my statments are true and accurate. I have several witnesses who can confirm my assessment of the occurrence.
