On May 1, 2023, I had a surgical procedure performed by Newbridge Spine and Pain Center in Prince Frederick, MD. The procedure was performed by Mru *********, MD. As required, I made an appointment for a follow-up appointment on May 22, 2023, at 10:15 am. I arrived on time on this date and was told by the front desk that I did not have an appointment. After further research I was told that my follow-up appointment was on June 22, 2023. I thought that was strange because in all prior procedures performed by Newbridge follow-up appointments were always schedule between 2-3 weeks after a procedure. I informed them that I would be returning from out of the country on June 21st and that that appointment would not work for me. They stated that was the earliest they could see me. I said, I guess I had no option but to return on that date. I returned home and shortly after received a call from the front desk. The woman stated that the office had made the error, that my appointment should have been on May 22nd, but they put the wrong date in their records. They stated they had an opening on June 2nd at 3:15 pm. I stated I would come in on that date. I arrived on May 22nd at approximately 3:05 pm. I arrived early because it is their policy if you arrive more than 15 minutes late you must reschedule your appointment. I sat in the waiting room well past my appointment time. I was finally taken back, and my blood pressure was taken, and I was placed in a room to wait for the nurse practitioner to see me. I waited and waited and finally informed the nurse that took my blood pressure that I had to leave in 5 minutes as I had another engagement. At 4:05 I walked out without being seen and without scheduling another appointment. I am requesting that Dr. ********* call me directly to discuss my follow up as I have wasted enough time and gas attempting to follow through with Newbridge. I am also requesting a refund of the $10 credit I have on my account.
