I wish I could give 0 stars! I decided to shop at this store for the first time and it has been beyond terrible!! They were the only store with the items I was looking for. I placed 2 separate orders a day apart and decided to pay for 2nd day shipping for both orders. The first issue was the slow shipping time. I had to email them to find out when I could except a shipping confirmation and tracking. My orders were late to ship and they only refunded me $9 from the $40 I spent on shipping and this is after trying to contact them many times! One of my orders looked defective so I knew I’d return it and then my 2nd order was a gift that had to be returned. Both orders were paid with my visa and I was returning well under the 30 day limit and had the paper receipt! The store associate said I was only able to get a store credit and said it’s because of the way my bank is set up. Never heard of anything like this before! I left & went to a different location. This associate said there was no reason for it and that I’d have to call customer service. Why would I need to call customer service? I did not use Afterpay, PayPal or affirmative! I feel this company purposely has their system set up so they do not have to return money to customers and what made me think this is customers in front of me also happens to be returning and could not get their money back. Their only choice was store credit too. I have never shopped here before and never will again after I use this store credit. They are slow to ship, slow to respond in customer service and they will NOT refund your money even if it meets their return requirements. Oh and lastly, they have 1 person working the register while the rest just hang out amongst each other or they are on their phones. If they improve anything, it definitely needs to be a new register system because there’s absolutely no reason in my situation that I should have gotten a store creditReview from Billy S

I am writing to express my outrage regarding my recent order from DTLR, where I purchased the Military Blue Retro 4s. Instead of receiving the sneakers I eagerly awaited, I was shocked to find an empty box delivered to my doorstep. This blatant disregard for customer service is unacceptable, especially from a company with a notorious reputation for backdooring and stealing pairs. To add insult to injury, my claim with the bank was denied, leaving me both out of pocket and without the sneakers I rightfully purchased. This level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty cannot go unaddressed, and I demand immediate action to rectify this situation.Review from Rayna B.

The worker retrieved a pair of shoes my daughter was interested in. He handed her 1 shoe, she put it on, and tied it up. She went to put the other shoe on and we couldn't find the box with the other shoe in it. The worker had taken the box and put it behind the counter. I asked if she could try both shoes on and was told no, per store policy, you can only try 1 shoe on at a time. The female worker literally brought the other shoe and wanted the current shoe off my daughters foot first. A person can't see how both shoes feel on their feet for $120. Needless to say it was my first and last time in DTLR. I walked out. I refuse to patronize a store with such a ridiculous policy. On what planet is that okay...Review from elrhonda b

Didn’t issue my refund. I sent a pair of shoes back. They finally respond about my refund status and said they had only received one shoe. I have proof both shoes were mailed back based off the weight of the package.Review from Nicole A

HOW GHETTTO IS THIA COMPANY TO SHIP ME ETHIKA UNDERWEAR TO MY HOME WITH BUZZERS STILL ATTACHED TO THEM ! THE CLOSEST STORE IS OVER AN HOUR AWAY AND THE REP HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO TAMPA TO GET THEM REMOVED ! I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS STORE AGAIN ! Bought some shoes online and received such a troublesome experience. I received display shoes that had some wear and reached out to customer service. They advised that I'd still have to pay the shipping fees for the shoes until I had to keep pressing them that the situation seems unreasonable. Was able to finally get a return label, they advise once the item is checked back in, a reshipment or refund will be offered. Received no follow up on it being checked back in until I sent an email saying that I'd just take a refund at this point. A new customer rep advised a reorder was confirmed on a date that was not confirmed by me and reshipped a new one. Lack of transparency with communications and now I'm *** for shipping fees to get rid of the shoes.Review from Selena N.

Went to Dtlr in the Woodbridge mall Sent the saleswoman to bring back to sneakers I selected. Had two four yr olds with me to try the sneakers on. Ask twice for them to bring out both pairs , was instructed that because of possible theft that my children wouldnÂ’t be able to try on the sneakers and see how they feel because it was a possibility that we would steal the sneakers. I asked a third time and the manager who was in the back of us pretending to straighten up sneakers which were already on the wall neatly replied to my objection to how we were being treated . The manager stated to my face that she could not oblige my request to bring out both pairs to be tried on because we might steal the sneakers. I was indeed embarrassed upset and refused to be a consumer of goods from a store which would make a potential customer walk out and not buy anything because of how we were treated . I felt humiliated and will never shop online or in the store of a company who treats all consumers as thieves. The manager was very cold and uninviting . My children couldnÂ’t understand why they werenÂ’t allowed to try on sneakers on both of their feet to see the comfortability. In my 45 yrs IÂ’ve never been told this in a sneaker store whether average or high end sneaker store .DTLR, Inc. Response

We would like to apologize for the unpleasant experience encountered at our Woodbridge location. Customer service is a priority for all DTLR stores, and we value all of our customers.
We will need to know the date of the encounter and will look into this situation and execute coaching, training and development to the store team as needed. We will like to also have the contact information for the customer to allow us an opportunity to reach out and rectify the situation.

They literally had me and my daughter waiting outfits while they were on "break" the sign says 30mins we waited almost a full hour while the staff members were out shopping in the plaza stores I was told someone called off but those who were there didn't seem to take there job seriously I'm ****** off one of the workers stated they are closing the store while customers waited in line instead of taking two or three at a time mind you school starts in a day smh
