Wednesday December 6th, I went to the leasing office and placed a work order for pest control to visit my apartment. That morning I had seen two mice, one of which crawled l directly underneath my front door. I requested at that time that the maintenance staff bring me sticky traps until the pest control came to my apartment which I was told was going to be on Friday December 9th. I never received the sticky traps. I then invested in traps and baits using my own money. The leasing or maintenance staff never reached out or contacted me to confirm that I had received the sticky traps. The pest management left a note that they were in my apartment on December 9th. However, within 24 hours I saw three more mice. One crawled through the burner of my stove, one crawled underneath the stove & I have a video of one crawling from the bottom cabinet. I'm deeply concerned that my apartment is no longer habitable because I have an ESA and these rodents pose a threat to myself, someone with asthma and to my ESA as he is home during the day alone. These rodents can also be heard scratching and moving in the cabinets. I believe there is a rodent infestation in this building as well as on the property. The management office is not doing enough to remedy the situation. When I request pest control I'm required to border my ESA which is an additional inconvenience. This is stressful, and the leasing office does not seem sympathetic as I am not the first person to make this complaint about the rodents. At the time of my request, 3 additional residents were on the list for the same issue. I have images and video of a rodent less than 24 hours after my apartment has been treated. I also requested that under my stove and under my dishwasher be sealed by the maintenance staff neither of this has been done as I saw another mouse crawl under the dishwasher today. Rodent infestations are a clear violation of the lease agreement.
