      Richard's Appliance Repair (Richard's) was supposed to install a gas cooktop that was provided to us by American Home Shield (AHS). Richard's was also supposed to install a natural gas to liquid propane (LP) conversion kit. Richard's was unable to install the last (LP) conversion part, and stripped the threads on the natural gas part trying to remove it. They took the cooktop apart, with parts left over when attempting to reassemble it, which voided the warranty per GE. They also cross threaded the gas regulator which rendered the cooktop unusable and unrepairable. The installation also left us unable to reinstall a drawer underneath the cooktop. In order to send us another cooktop, AHS is requiring Richard's to send them documentation which Richard's did not, and will not, provide. We nor AHS has been able to contact Richard's since all phone calls go to voicemail and they do not answer or respond. It has now been 7 MONTHS since we have been able to cook in our kitchen and neither Richard's or AHS is able to help us. AHS has sent several company's to our house and they all have said, including GE, that the cooktop is unrepairable and dangerous to use. If you can get Richard's Appliance Repair to contact American Home Shield and admit that they damaged beyond repair and voided the warranty on a brand new cooktop it would be greatly appreciated.

      Twice, ******** **** ****** sub contracted Richards to install a microwave range above my stove and both times Richards failed to show up at the time they said they would arrive. They failed to show up at all or call. Twice my wife and I had to take off work for no reason only to be stood up by this company. Despite phone calls and emails we have not been contacted back.

      125$ service fee from American home shield for dishwasher service call at the end of august 2022. Homeshield contracted Richard's appliance to fix our dishwasher issue. Richard's appliance according to home shield said they had fixed the issue as of 9.8.2022. This was not true. Throughout September and into October we contacted Richard's appliance as well as home shield to explain the issue was not fixed. Due to the ongoing issue, we now have mold from the dishwasher leaking and not being fixed. If Richard's appliance actually fixed the issue none of this would be happening. Please help. We just want the dishwasher fixed and mold issue remediation.
