On August 2nd of 2023 I paid for hair extensions in the amount of, $421.94. I had also had a **nsultation a few days prior to August 2nd the amount for that was $20.00.On September 2nd I went to mane and ** to have my extensions put in.. the day of September 2nd I also paid a $195.00 extension installation fee.. on September 17th my extensions started to slip out. I believe that was the result of ******* my service so that she didn't get caught doing hair with no license.Just two moths ago on, March ********* I learned that *********************** of mane and ** was NOT licensed from 8/4/23 to 11/11/23... hair service was rendered on 9/2/2023..I paid for and signed for a licensed **smetologist to work on my hair. Not an unlicensed one. I had originally paid for my extensions before she lost her license but she should have let me know she lost her license and given me the option to go somewhere else or have a refund.I have ask for a full refund. I was offered a giftcard to the salon of $195.00.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. She has offered a gift card to her salon in the amount of ******. I find this unacceptable because the services rendered happened illegally without any knowledge to me of no current license at the time of installation.
