On May 7, 2024, I took my poodle mix to Nehalem Animal Healing in *******, ****** for a Titer Test (rabies) in order to move overseas in the middle of July. Since they don't perform the test on-site, the bloodwork was outsourced to IDEXX labs. I explained to the vet clinic and IDEXX that time is of the essence as travel and quarantine must be set up in ******, the place I am moving, in advance, but the Titer test results MUST be available in order to do so. I paid $558 in full and have followed up with Nehalem Animal Healing twice a week--about four times--since the test was done asking about the progress, Each time, Nehalem Vet reached out to IDEXX, an IDEXX representative told them they had no way of being able to tell when the test results would be completed. I phoned an IDEXX branch in ***** and spoke to a supervisor, *************************, who refused to give me information on the status of the testing. She would not tell me when it would be completed and could not sight a state or federal law for refusing to do so, simply that it was company policy not to disclose the length of time it takes to get test results back. (I wasn't even asking for the results of the test; just when they would be ready.)I request the immediate release of my dog's Titer test results to Nehalem Animal Healing in *******, ******. If IDEXX does not provide the test results by Thursday, May 30, 2024, I request a full refund: $550 for the Titer test + $8 for the medication.
