I took two sweaters to Martinizing for dry cleaning. It was the location in **********, **. They were essentially new and had never been washed or dry cleaned before. Both sweaters were worth around $200 dollars. When I picked them up from the cleaners, I noticed that each had holes in them. I was seeking compensation for the sweaters. It took the owner several days to get back with me. She told me that there was no possible way that the machinery could have caused this damage. It seems that she did not consider other potential causes for a hole such as employee mishandling. She denied my request for compensation and made zero effort to try to remedy the situation. She also insinuated that I was likely the culprit for the holes. Also, it appears that the company does no pre-clean inspection for damage. So there is no way they can prove that they were not responsible for the damage.
