I went to ************** and got financed for a 09 dodge ram no warranty. Drove it off the lot about 4pm on September 21st. ***** started acting funny before my husband even got to work. Next day we ran a check engine search and thought it may be a fuse. Replaced and tried again it did not work. On September 23rd we called ************** explained what happened and they stated they would see what could be done. Sense then we have found it it was the transmission and they require we pay up to ***** dollars (half the cost they said seems high). Anywase a list if excuses has sense followed from dodge dealership they sent it to in ******. I purchased a 2017 **** escape from **** graff and I paid $7,500 cash on March 10, 2023. By March 12 the car was misfiring on 2 of 4 cylinders. By March 13 they had it in their shop. **** graff cleared the check engine light codes, and gave it back on March 14 saying it was fine. By March 17 the check engine lights were back on. changed spark plugs and reset engine codes. By march 19 the codes were back. Returned car to graff after talking to used car manager *** on March 20. *** assured me they would trade in the **** and get me into something of equal value. March 21 picked car up after they said the car was fine after clearing the codes AGAIN. Codes came back for me immediately so I returned the car to grafff. On March 22 they told me it needed ignition coils and gave me a deal and charged me $300 to replace ignition coils on the car I just bought. March 27 they finished the coils. March 28 the check engine light codes are on. March 30 I dropped the car off to Graff for the final time. They didnt return my calls until April 14. They told me the car needs a new engine. After negotiating for several days they gave me a vehicle valued at $3,500 after selling me a junked car for $7,000. I lost $3500 because they sold me a bad vehicle. I am a single mom and that was my entire years tax return plus more. I sold my vehicle and used the cash from that and my tax return. I want them to make the value right by returning my money after struggling for a month trying to get my vehicle straightened out.Initial Complaint

I bought a **** Silverado on August 25, 2022 for $3000 plus tax and license. I didn't think much of the truck smoking from the tail pipe but it smelled of gas and used a lot of gas to drive it home so I took it to a mechanic. I had to visit several shops because the dealership sold me the truck with the catalytic converters recently removed. I can't drive legally without them and shops must replace them before I can get service on the truck.
