I ordered online from this company on 2/26/23 for an order to be picked up for $141.93 for 100 wings. I gave them my debit card number for the order, they called me back to say they didn't have enough product and would cancel the order. This was at the ********** ** location on Evergreen. I immediately called my bank (Huntington) and they credited my account. I then called a different location in ********** on 8 Mile road, they filled my order and I used my Ollo credit card. I picked up this order. The previous location is disputing my claim, and my bank is saying that the previous location provided proof that I did receive my order through DoorDash. I have never used DoorDash ever. I have called Captain ***'s headquarters twice and each time they say they have no record of a complaint, I talked to ***** today, 6/8/23 and she said she would expedite this to her Supervisor/District Manager. I provided proof with a screenshot to my bank of the latter transaction using my credit card, not debit card. I'm going around in circles with Captain ***'s on ************** in **********, because they're claiming I did get my order. They are the one's who cancelled the order. I'm retired and perhaps $141.93 doesn't mean anything to them, however I do need my money because this is a charge that wasn't authorized and could possibly be fraudulent.Business response

Captain **** has researched the customer complaint. Our records indicate that the customer, *************************, contacted our Corporate Offices on June 6, 2023. Customer stated they placed order on the Feb 26, 2023 for 100 chicken wings put in debit card and was called back 10 mins later from store location stating they could not make 100 wings only 50, so she cancelled order, bank put her money back. Customer states that on May 15th, it was taken out of bank because Captain **** disputed the $141.43 credit, states that she can provide proof that she purchased at different location at 114. ******** stated that she cancelled her order at 118, and that it was a door dash order. Customer was informed to contact Door Dash directly. Customer refuses to contact Door Dash stating she does not purchase through door dash.Initial Complaint

I am writing a formal complaint on management. My daughter is an employee at Captain *********************** ******* and ******* location. Her name is *****************************. My husband came to the store Saturday June 2, 2023 to pick our daughter up. Her shift ended at 4pm. She was unable to leave per manager, ******************* stating it was no relief. My daughter is a minor and came in to help on her off day. After my husband was sitting outside for 30mins he told our daughter he needed to speak with ***************** was aware. He walked into the store to speak with the manager to let her know he is here to pick his daughter up and her shift was over. Manager *** walked into my husband face shouting and yelling he dont run her M fing store, swearing, telling him he can get the f out, very disrespectful, inappropriate, lack of control, and rude in front of multiple customers. 6 customers to be exact. My husband was in shock and a bit frighten, this is work place violent, harassment and attempted assault. My daughter stated a few choice word after telling her manager not to disrespect her father. The District manager **** was contacted immediately by my daughter and husband and he stated an apology is needed from *** and my daughter job was not at risk. He wants my daughter to return to work today June 3rd but I feel we need some resolution to this problem. This was a totally uncalled for incident with no resolution. Please help and contact me back. My daughter love to work and enjoy working for this company but I want her in a safe work environment at all times. ***********************************Business response

Captain **** appreciates the feedback received regarding this situation between the Manager and Parent of Employee. We have investigated and discussed the matter with the Store Manager regarding their tones and communicating with parents. We did communicate with the Parent of the Employee to discuss the results of our investigation and to ensure that the situation was handled correctly and to their satisfaction. Parent indicated they were satisfied during the conversation.Initial Complaint

My order was a walk in to go at Captain ***'s #*** ******************************** *******, ******** ************* on 04/09/2023 at 5:50p 0rder # ****** Employee ******* 2- 20 PC *********** for $19.99 & 8oz **** Slaw $2.49 + tax $2.40 total =$44.87 on my debit card waiting for my order inside when it was ready I informed the employee that I will pull to the drive thur to get my order for pickup due to it was 2 big large pan of very hot chicken I didn't want to carry to car, another customer had called ahead payed cash got his receipt he walked out first than I walked out behind him another customer was waiting on his order, now drive to window get there a few minutes they tell me some kinda way they gave my order to a customer, what puzzle me was how nobody new walked in only one guy waiting on his order was placed before I went to my car where is my order I waited for over 30 mins now they had to recook me another order would nor refund my money for a mistake they made and didn't get my food till 8pm they say was having problems with the fryer so I missed my event with 40pcs of chicken so was in your store from 5:50pm till 8pm due to they would not refund my money for something I had nothing to do with was forced to stay there all that time missing my event when I got there most of the people was gone this is not Acceptable, I'm out of $44.87 and 2 pan's of chicken that I had to put in the trash, I'm so heated it is unreal can't believe that this happened!!!!!
