On Thursday, June 6, 2024 about 4:20pm I came to the Post Express *** at ******************************************************************************************* to have some papers faxed. When I walked in there was a black lady at the counter and she it seemed like she was having an issue with the clerk, There was an Arab lady who was right before me and as I was waiting in line an older Arab man walked in with 2 packages. After the black lady left the clerk helped the Arab lady in front of me then after she was done the Arab man just walked in front of me and the clerk proceeded to help him. I stated that I was next in line which the clerk responded that it didn't matter because he only had packages which I responded that it shouldn't matter because he came in after me. Then he told me to go somewhere else to get my service done because it wasn't that serious. I told him I would be making a complaint and he replied that it didn't matter. There was also cameras so it's easily verified.Business response

Hi,
I was helping a customer at the counter that was on the phone with her son regarding overnighting a package which she decided not to send because of cost, not because of any issues with the clerk.
After this I looked up to see three customers waiting for help. Two needed an quick services that took less than one minute for both customers combined. Miss/******************************* had a stack of papers that needed to be faxed, ID that needed to be copied before it would be faxed. In my experience this a transaction that would take 5-10 minutes. In order to most efficiently manage our business we have help people based on the type of service they needed as well as who walks in first. In 20 years of managing this business I can recognize how long each transaction would take. Miss/****************** was so offended by this and she wouldn't hear my explanation. I then handed her papers back and told her to leave. I could have handled the situation better and should have just apologized to de-escalate. It was just about efficiency and multitasking.
Implying any racial bias is completely unfair and inaccurate. I welcome her to come back so we can resolve the issue
