On March 23, 2023; I booked 3 rooms for August 19, for my bachelorette party, through booking.com. (I had never used booking.com before). On July 13, I called Tawas Bay Beach Resort and asked how to cancel my reservation. The lady I spoke to, claimed that she was a new employee, but to rest assured, she would take care of the cancellation. On August 20th, Tawas Bay Beach Resort withdrew $581.04 from my bank account. When I called Tawas bay Beach Resort and explained what happened, ******* said that I needed to cancel with booking.com. Had the first receptionist told me that, I would have done exactly that. But she said she would take care of the cancellation. It's not my fault that she didn't do what she said she'd do.
