Was over charged.... Twice. We checked into the parking garage a 2:04 PM. We left about 4:45 pm. Was not even three hours. The charged my debit card $6.25 twice within a minute. Was informed that I need to send a bank statement to an email address but to no one in particular. And to wait 4-6 Weeks and maybe they would refund the over charge. What a load of c*** Who gave these folks a license to steal????? Plus the sign clearly states $1.50 an hour. Where do they get off charging me $6.25 for less than three hoursInitial Complaint

The only reason I parked in the Government Center Parking Ramp that Mobile GR operates, instead of the ** ******** hotel where I was staying is because they have two huge signs out front that say "$12.00 daily max." I entered the structure at 1/27/22 at 11:08am, and left on 1/28/22 at 8:03am--less than a full day. The unattended machine made me pay $23.25. I was charged for two days even though I only stayed one. When I called them, I was told there was nothing they could do and they refused to refund me the difference. I should have only been charged $12 since I wasn't there more than 24 hours. Requesting a refund of $11.25. See pictures.Business response

********Thank you for your inquiry. The parking equipment we utilize determines your parking charges based on a timed-entry system. The system time resets at 4:00 AM each day, at which time the parking fee accrual begins for the new day. Because the majority of our traffic is generated by business customers visiting downtown between 8 AM and 6 PM and event/restaurant visitors between 6 PM and 2 AM, we have chosen the 4:00 AM reset time to avoid restarting parking fees in the middle of parking sessions. Unfortunately, this does present a challenge for overnight visitors who occupy the ramp during the time reset.
