On 3-14-2024 I had an appointment with QCKinetics at a *************** office in the ****** office complex area. I was happily greeted on the phone and was offered a free consultation on regenerative therapy. I was given the sales pitch and was offered two free laser treatments on my knee. I was feeling like this just might help me with my bad knee pain. I was told I would need to put money down that day, so it was suggested that I write a check for $1000.00, which I did. After that he came back into the room and said that when I come back in a week for a second complimentary laser treatment to bring the balance of $8000.00 in cash. This made me quite uncomfortable and he didnt want another check or even a cashiers check. I went back in a week and told him that I had decided not to go ahead with the procedure. He became visibly upset and said that I would not be getting my deposit money back and that I would probably owe them more money because he had ordered a kit for my procedure and there were other fees that had occurred, including the franchise fee. I have called him back and he refused any refund, saying I signed paperwork that says no refunds. I never got any paperwork other than a copy of the payment of my check that day. This was a complimentary first visit and included two complimentary laser treatments to my knee. I cannot believe that they would charge me for these complimentary services and that they would deal in cash. This is a huge scam on us all who are looking for relief from pain. There is a reason why they dont join the BBB.Customer response

I am writing to you again to ask you for my $1000.00 back. I am in no position to give up a thousand dollars for no services rendered, I went to you in good faith and do not expect any ill feelings from you. What would have happened to my additional $8000.00 cash I was to have delivered to you? Would you have kept that money also?Customer response

Had an appointment at ******************. As soon as I got there they told me I'd be a great candidate and I could look forward to being pain free soon. They "diagnosed " me with right shoulder labrum issues with no m.r.i. or xrays or scans of any sort then started me on a $7,000 plan. Got the injections they told me I needed through them and as soon as the treatment was done the shut the door on me. No response to calls, and now the entire staff has been fired approximately 4 months ago and is under new ownership. I am now 7,000$ in debt and STILL in ridiculous amounts of pain.
