No communication from Ionia unlimited.Internet goes out at least once a month and says no data available Last straw was being double and triple charged a total of 5 times for a total of over 420 dollars He responded immediately on overcharge and said refund would be processed in 1 to 2 days Then the excuses started Saying cc processor would reimburse me Which the new cc processor also double charged me Multiple emails before a response and only responded after i posted on social media for **** the owner to get ahold of me on updates.Then agreed to send refund on Venmo And would be done by Tuesday or Wednesday Since that email 5 days prior he has not responded at all Emailed ****, Ionia unlimited, used his ticket system on Ionia unlimited, messaged Ionia unlimited and posted again on social media for him to reach out to me Tired of excuses just would like refunded And be done with the situation Sadly looking at reviews I am not the only oneInitial Complaint

In the last 12 months, ionia unlimited has charged my card on auto pay, an additional 13 times. For a total of $1104.87. Each month we also lost **************** for 2-3 days and he always said he would credit our account and this never happened either.Initial Complaint

Ionia Unlimited has been over charging out accounts, he has charged us 14 EXTRA times in the last 17 Months. Ionia Unlimited has reached out after a WEEK OF SILENCE and told us he found 9 over charges and would be paying us $764.91. When I provided him with the evidence to say he owed us $1,189.86 he has also gone silent. I will also be perusing a case with Ionia County Small claimsInitial Complaint

Hi there **** at Ionia unlimited overcharged me and owes me money. I have proof that he said hed repay me and he hasnt. He took more money thats owed. After putting information out there I have found that hes doing this to tons of people. I have called and called this . First he will not answer calls and no customer service since then have changed service will not tell me where to take his equipment. Raised my bill no explanation. We have been unable to reach anyone for extended periods of time when our service is down. Most recently, beginning Nov 16 we have not had any service. We have called Ionia Unlimited through every means of communication, emailed, left voicemails and contacted them through their website. NO ONE will return our call. Our service is not working. And this company continues to auto bill our credit card.Initial Complaint

I paid Ionia Unlimited (*******************) $339.98 on 7/25/23 for an internet service and hook up agreement. The agreement was that the equipment would arrive to him in his position by 8/1/23 at the latest, at which time he would make an appointment with me to install the equipment and hook up my internet service. Since I made payment, he has not been in contact with me at all. He has not returned any of my phone call messages, emails or text messages. I have all of the documented text messages from ******** Messenger detailing the agreement, as well as the receipt which was emailed to me. I feel he has purposefully avoided me since my payment and I would like a refund.Business response

This email was sent to the customer email on file and via square messaging also to his email.
The customer was trying to communicate to the owner through PRIVATE ******** message and made no contact to the actual business or representatives.
We currently have the customers equipment on hand.
"Hi ***, this is ****** with Ionia Unlimited, filling in for **** for the time being.
**** has been seriously ill and has been in and out of the hospital for the time being.
We received a BBB message stating that you have been trying to get ahold of us, however I do not see any emails that have come in from you, responses from the invoice you have paid on, or ******** messages on the business page.
We would certainly love to get you hooked up. Please let me know when would work best for you, we have opening After Thursday this week for installs."Initial Complaint

This business is the only internet provider to my location. When I've reached out in the past the response was basically 'if you don't like it take your business elsewhere', yet there is no other supplier to go to and the owner is aware of this. I have now been trying to reach him for 3 weeks - thru ********* Messenger, leaving voice mails on the business phone, on the website thru chat and there is no response or return call. I've waited for lengths on hold on his business phone. I am a licensed clinical therapist providing teletherapy services to clients with serious and traumatic issues and having my sessions dropped over and over again within their scheduled hour is unacceptable and more importantly, unnecessary. I want a response from this owner. The internet worked fine for weeks and/or months and now in the past 3 weeks is has not which is evidence that he can get it working properly.Business response

I no longer have an office with a phone system. It states on the phone system the best way to reach me is via email, ********* or website chat. I received a ******** message from this customer, however any responses I tried to issue resulted in the message failing. Usually indicating that the recipient has blocked or chose to decline responses from the business page.
On our website, both on our plans/pricing page and on our policies it is clearly indicated that this is a FIXED WIRELESS service, and not all speeds are available in all areas, and service uptime or reliability is not guaranteed. The issues in question, are a direct result of foliage growth in the immediate path to the new upgraded sector antenna that I installed a few months ago.
I do not have the tools or equipment on hand to move the antenna up, and it is costly for me to rent the equipment to do so (more than what I even make combined from any of the motel customers there)
When I am able to, I will come out and move the antenna so her connection doesn't drop.
