I talked to ******* Gordon over two months ago. I told him that while we are satisfied with the part of the painting of our trim on the front of the house that was done we don't think the job was ever finished and would he take a look. He said he would be over to take a look. Two months have passed and we haven't seen or heard from him. As far as we are concerned the job his company was contracted to do on our house was never finished. The part that is left undone is the very part we mostly hired a company for; the highest part of the trim at the top of the house. We're in our 70s and do not want to climb a ladder that high. Plus there are a few boards they installed on the deck that were supposed to have been painted after some seasoning. Now we are left with a small job that no other painter will agree to do, and a job that makes our house look worse than before it was painted; the bottom half of the trim one color, the top part of the trim the old color. We would like to know when it will be finished. The part of the job they did is well done and we are very happy with it.But Gordon Painting is impossible to get in touch with; they don't answer their phones, their mailbox is usually overfilled and you can't leave a message and if you should get through to leave a message they don't return the call. It's been a very frustrating on-going problem the entire time we've dealt with them. And still is. The entire experience has been this way. We haven't been able to get much done because we can't connect to someone to discuss any of this.All we would like is the rest of our trim in the front of the house painted to match the bottom part the company has already painted. Our contract stipulated that "the trim" on the front of the house was to be painted, not "half the trim" as has been done. And the new boards that they installed on our deck painted for the first time- another part of the contract still undone.Business response
