I had a tree fall on my metal roof causing damage.I saw Roger Hill's ******** Discount Services (HD Services) advertisement in the ************** newspaper.Roger was contacted about the repair and was paid $100 to come out to provide an estimate.Roger provided a proposal on how he was going to repair the roof damage and it was signed by both parties. I sent a check to Roger for 60% of the estimate as specified in the proposal.Roger then attempted to install patches instead of replacing the damaged metal as he had specified in his proposal. It was assumed that Roger repaired the damage as was stated in the proposal, so he was paid in full for the repair.After the repair was inspected by a family member and was not done right, Roger was contacted and agreed to come back and perform the repair per his specifications in the proposal.Roger has now stated that he will come next week on seven occasions, but never comes.I am an elderly veteran and just wanted to share my story of how Roger Hill treats his customers, so the same thing won't happen to to you.Review from Tim A

We hired Roger Hill at HD Services on September 9, 2022 to replace some damaged metal on my Uncle's roof. Roger came on September 20th and used scrap metal on the property, that was used on a previous roof repair, to place patches on the damaged areas instead of replacing the damaged metal with new metal as stated in our signed agreement. Roger performed this unauthorized repair in 3 hours for $1,900. That's over $600 an hour for an unauthorized temporary patch using materials from the property! Roger agreed on September 24th to "make it right" and come back and make the repair per our signed agreement. Roger has promised to complete this work every week for the past 7 weeks, but has never shown up and won't refund any of the money that he was paid. I would highly recommend that you don't hire Roger Hill at HD Services for the following reasons:- He performs substandard work.- His prices are extremely high.- The work that he performs is not what he states in his Proposal.- He doesn't show up when he says he will. - He promises to make it right, but won't return to do so as he promises.
