We hired the ***** remodeling and construction on July 27, ********************************************** 3/4 of our home. We asked them in 2 spots to make sure the subfloor was leveled and they agreed as part of the cost of installation. The next day, pieces were buckling and unlocking and I asked them to come back out to fix the bad spots. They ended up breaking that piece more and said theyd come out and try again but then never did. We paid them $1200 to lay our flooring. Finally on February 6, they finally answered a text and I had them come out to look at the floor again, which by then was chipped and separated in multiple places. Fall of 2022, we didnt know why our floor was so bad so we contacted Menards where we purchased the flooring and they sent our complaint to United Weavers of America, the manufacturer, for claiming the warranty. United sent an independent floor inspector to inspect our issues and in his report, he said that the inspection was done wrong in multiple places. They then didnt respond to any correspondence from Feb 12 - April 2. On April 2, I informed ***** of the report, and they argued that "they didnt do anything wrong with the install and that the flooring inspector is bias", but they said that they would make it right. They said they would contact their insurance company. They then said that their insurance company is saying that the floor is discontinued, which is a lie because its still available for purchase at Menards. I have tried to contact many times now to get my money back from them because we have to have our entire floor pulled up and purchase new because we have dozens of areas that are buckled, broken, snapped off and separated. I have documentation for all. When they finally responded, they said "It dont work that way sweetheart" . One of them did say he would refund me but then never responded to texts. We spent over $3000 on flooring we saved and saved for and hiring them.Initial Complaint

We hired ***** in November to remodel our unfinished basement. They started the project and were given $6,000. We purchased all materials needed for the project. They have been extremely slow with progress. We have been having weekly checkins to ensure we stay on track. In January, they stated they would be done with the entire project in 2 weeks. Fast forward to March, they are only 40% complete and have stopped working. They will not answer our calls, texts or return any of our messages. They have not done $6,000 worth of work so we are now left with having to hire and pay another company to finish what they started.
