We believed that we were hiring 24 Hour Flood Pros to pack out our basement and remediate our belongings following a flood in our basement on January 5th, 2023, covering the basement in 5 inches of water. They sent a sub-contractor, ***************** Construction to do the pack out and they did so without providing ANY documentation. We had to involve the owner of 24 Hour Flood Pros to have our property returned to us at which time we discovered MANY items were still missing, total loss items had been stored with items that should have been salvagable, and no proper remediation was done. We are still missing MANY items of great sentimental value and the fact that the company has been made aware of broken and damaged items caused by their mishandling of our contents have been ignored.Initial Complaint

On January 5, 2023 we suffered a flood in our basement. ************************* and **** came out and evaluated and agreed that they would be able to take the pack out job for our contents on January 6, 2023. ***************** showed up on January 10 to do the pack out with no communication from 24 Flood that a subcontractor would be used. Our wet contents were packed in with dry contents and we have received several broken and damaged items of the few that have been returned. To date no work authorization, pack out lists, restoration lists, or any billing has been provided despite numerous written requests from myself or my adjuster. On May 17, ******************** writing that ALL of our contents be immediately returned and that was denied verbally to our adjuster on a recorded phone call. This occured following ***************** insisting we provide labor costs for them to bring our items to a show room instead of allowing us access to our vault as requested. Despite having the labor available to return my possessions, they still refused. They have not responded to numerous prior email requests from myself or my adjuster thus prohibiting me from completing my affidavit of loss. Supporting documentation is substantial and available upon request.
