We signed up to get trash pick-up starting in early May of 2024. After 3 weeks in a row of them not picking up our trash on the correct day, calling multiple times to get them to come back and pick up the trash, we requested they cancel our service. We called and they said no problem, we will cancel your service and scheduled a day to pick up the trash can that still had trash. We assumed the money for the next 2 months would be returned although that was not discussed.However, they only emptied the trash can. When we called back to tell them that they need to come get the trash can itself as discussed originally, they refused to pick up the trash can until the 90 days of service were up and stated that we cannot cancel our service. We have the service for 90 days and that is when they will pick up the trash can. We argued with them stating that we did not care about the money, just come get the trash can, because we had already started service with **************** since we did not want our trash can to sit out at the street for days waiting for them to get the trash. They still refused to come get the trash can.I would like my money for **** and July returned and for them to get their trash can.We stated that we really don't care about the money, just come get the trash canInitial Complaint

Date of transaction 4/24/24, amount paid to business: $62.00. Called Specialty Salvage and paid for curbside trash pickup. Called back 30 minutes later to cancel service + receive refund. Was then told their policy is 'no refunds'. I was not told this prior to making payment. Subsequently I reviewed their website and there is no mention of this policy. I canceled before any service was received, they were to bring a cart next week. Asked to speak to a supervisor or owner to discuss this further, and was told 'none are available and have no idea what day they will be in the office next'. I am only seeking a refund of my payment, for which I did not receive any service.Initial Complaint

I have used this business for **************** since moving into my house in Nov of 22'. They have been tardy multiple times, and there has been multiple weeks where they have not picked up my trash at all. This past week they were supposed to pick up my trash on 1/18/2024, they did not show up at all. They recently billed me $75.50 on Jan. 26th and they still have not picked up my garbage. I called the customer service representative to try and cancel my account and she told me that she could not verify my account canceling without speaking to her boss *************************, who is the owner. I asked her why I could not get verification to cancel and she hung up the phone on me. I then called back, and the owner ************************* answered the phone. He told me "it's not the end of the world that we haven't picked up your garbage yet" and "to stop whining". I then asked him if that's how he talks to all of his customers and he replied "that's how I am talking to you". He then told me if I was unhappy with the service then I can switch somewhere else, and I told him that's what I am trying to do, and he hung up the phone on me as well. I tried to call back and her would not answer the phone.Initial Complaint

I paid this company 3 months in advance because they require you to do so to be on *******. I called 11/28 to transfer my address 3 weeks later i called again because my trash was not picked up, they never changed my address. They changed it and the following week they did not come so I called again, she said they should have gotten it. They finally came the following week 12/30 a month after i changed my address. They never came again. I canceled my trash on 1/16/23, they refuse to give a refund for remaining balance and services not provided claiming its policy , but this is never advised until you try to get a refund. They cannot tell me when they will get the trash or their cartInitial Complaint

This company is collecting trash in a residential neighborhood after quiet time hours. Consistently picking up trash after 11:30pm. This is completely unacceptable. People work early in the morning and are trying to sleep.
