I recently purchased my home (1-16-2024). However, in mid April 2024 the siding on the side of my house came off. I have informed the sales lady (***********************) several times. She has ensured me the damage would be repaired once a working crew returned to the area. Working crews have put up siding on several new builds but have yet to repair the damages on my home. Also, construction/contractors workers damaged the front of my lawn while building a new build home across the street from me. Again, there has not been movement to repair damage by Sable ******************** Now the sales lady is ignoring my text messages.Business response

This is analogous to enjoying the taste of sausage, but not wanting to see it get made. Construction is a messy process that involves a lot of moving parts and pieces, and human hands making things that aren't always perfect. A lot of people like to own new homes, but not everyone understands the messy process that goes into it. We do not sell a work in process, we sell the final product. Clients need to understand that there is a process in place to make sure all of these concerns are addressed, including multiple third-party inspectors to ensure the home is built to industry standards, and our own group of new home consultants who represent the buyer to management in a client-principal relationship. This individual has already been harassing our staff and subcontractors over his concerns, along with leaving us an almost incompressible ****** review. He has the right per our contract to stop construction whenever he wants, and we only get paid for what we have done up until that point. It is a contract that ensures accountability on both sides.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
***************************This is a bold face lie about harassing contractors, I tried to talk to coordinator and general manager and only really got responses after I contacted BBB also reported to **** off sable which they did nothing. They said 7 windows need to be replaced and part of driveway and sidewalk up to house is 30 to 34 inches wide should be 36 inches. We will see if they do this, because I saw nothing in writing. My neighbor's houses were built at same time, and they have major issues too. If they don't fix problems. I said we can do this the easy way or hard way meaning Sueing them and I suggested that all 3 homeowners including me get together and file a lawsuit against them if they don't fix these problems and there are more issues, but these are the big ones.

I have confirmed with the superintendent handling these warranty claims that 14/19 items have been addressed and completed, with the other five items either needing to order parts or schedule with another subcontractor for them to warranty their own work. Although I am not debating that some of the items listed were below standard, they have since been repaired or otherwise addressed per industry standards. This is all part of a fairly routine warranty process, and why we offer a warranty to begin with.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: they have not addressed all issues until they do, I'm rejecting this until I'm satisfied with the results, they still have many things to address and fix, covert under driveway sidewalk up to house drip edge around house windows that need to be repaired etc., and the lawn and more.......
Sincerely,
