Called today 10/02/24 to make a service appointment for my 2023 Genesis G90. Was informed that earliest available appointment was 02/05/25. Why would anyone buy a Genesis knowing it takes 5 months for a service appointment?Review from Debta L

Glassman Auto's dubious business practices. 7/6/24: My son (23) and I (mom) went into Glassman used cars. First ****** showed **** ******. I requested that we bring it to ************, a highly respected and nearby garage, for a pre-sale check. ****** declined and clarified this would be an insurance issue. ****** stepped in. He informed once more during a test drive of a Hyundai Elantra, that we could not take the vehicle to a garage for a presale check. They had a second Hyundai, which we wanted to test drive, We were told that it was being "checked into the lot" on the computer, it was not accessible. We were the assured that we could test drive the second Hyundai on Monday when we came back to purchase a car and exchange the two if we wanted. 7/8/24: My son got a certified check for the deposit. At the dealership, we were told we couldn't take a test drive or swap for the second Hyundai. At the last minute, they produced paperwork that the vehicle is "as is". My son paid $7k for the car. 7/10/24: Car would not speed up, so he drove home from work at a *** of 16mph. 7/11/24: Kings Garage identified the primary problem; clogged catalytic converters, but there were other problems tpp. A quote of $5,5k was given to get the car back in operating order. 7/13/24: We went to the dealership in good faith, assuming they would help. Dealership was not interested in helping and asked us to leave. Another dealership employee informed us that we had EVERY RIGHT to take the car in for a presale inspection. They eventually offered 2 choices:1. Trade-in the car for its current value of roughly $2k, IF we bought another car from them!2. Pay the dealership to fix the car with the offer of a 10% discount!My son turned down the options as each required him to give Glassman Auto more money after they had already defrauded him of $7,000.Glassman called the police and we were escorted out of the facility, without resolution to my son's car being undriveable car.Review from Jack R

Bought a used 2023 gv80 from ***************************** and was completely Satisfied. He was one of the best salesman I have ever dealt with, and I have purchased ********* BMWs etc. I will definitely work with him again.Review from Neil A

I've taken my Genesis GV80 four times to this dealership for the same problems. I had no horn sound and driver side headlight with extreme water condensation. 1st visit their technician said the headlight condensation was "normal" and that the horn no sound was because of "high pitch horn not working". I told them if the "Low pitch horn" was working then I'd hear something but I'm not hearing anything. *****'s explanation was "not necessary" because the two horns are connected "in series", which I know is BS. On the second service visit they replaced the high pitch horn then they told me that the low pitch horn was not working and needs to be ordered to be replaced. When I drove the vehicle out of the 2nd service I was able to hear the "fixed high pitch horn" which proves that they are not connected "in series". The headlight circuit board fried and I had to complain to Genesis customer service to have this headlight replaced on third visit. When they replaced the headlight (by removing front bumper) they did not put the bumper back correctly and I am hearing noise coming from engine compartment when I turn vehicle sharp left. After each visit I'd get a JD Power survey and when I put the honest experience I had at this dealership I got a call from Savon (who is now fired along with *****) telling me that I need to change my survey experience to 10/10 in order for the fourth visit to have a loaner vehicle provided. I did what they asked me but when I went for fourth visit today the service director **** told me that there is no loaner vehicle and that ***** was fired! I told him that I changed my JD survey because I was promised this loaner but now I need to change my survey to the truth. ****'s response was if I do that then he will not service my vehicle again! I asked him to give me my vehicle back before they do anything on it and I left the dealership. If there was a no star rating here I would have chosen it.I very much recommend staying away from this dealer.Glassman Automotive Group Response

I would not recommend anyone buy anything from these people. I brought a 2016 Santa Fe in September. In February after having issues and the entire car breaking down. I returned the car to be fixed. My car as been in there shop since February to now march and they started off by wanting me to pay $1700 to now the price is almost $4,000. When i took the car in i asked can they help me out. I understand i brought a used car so paying for service is understandable but i didnt believe should have to pay for what they told me. They told me no it was nothing they could do. Now every time i talk to them they still havent fixed the problem and the price keeps increasing.Glassman Automotive Group Response

Do not buy from Glassman. We bought a 2020 Subaru Outback that was "certified" used and had problems with it before we even made our first payment. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.Review from Jerry K

While my Wife has purchased 3 cars from them in the past I hope this is truly the last time. She traded in her car after having them service it and they told her it devalued the car and gave her a trade-in of $14k because they supposedly had to do more work to it. The next day I see it listed on their website for $22k. They have just proved to me what pond scum they truly are. I told my Wife they were full of it and they were supposed to fix the car, not supposedly put a band-aid on it. Very unscrupulous and not worth giving a dealership like this any business.Review from David B

If I could give zero stars, I would give Glassman Auto Group and specifically ******************* the Sales Manager that exact rating. I came in as a return customer with a specified goal of lowering my current payment. I was given a lowball offer on my trade and a payment that was more than what I was currently paying. That is how Glassman treats and respects a returning customer. After going to another dealership, the Glassman salesman calls me back and magically, the value of my vehicle increased by $4,000. What if I was an elderly person on a fixed income or a young new buyer on a low income? They would have happily railroaded me into an artificially inflated payment. I would advise everyone and anyone looking for a vehicle to avoid Glassman at all costs. And if you love your friends and family, you will let them know as well. This is the exact reason auto salespeople get a bad name.Review from David G

Would never, nor would I ever, recommend ANYONE to go to this dealership.The Finance Director, *********************** is a thief and a liar.The proper complaints have been filed with the necessary parties with the state, it is a shame this company allows such an employee to treat customers the way he does.Karma.Glassman Automotive Group Response

My Hyundai SUV was towed into Glassman Hyundai for a blown engine.....The ENGINE WAS RECALL WORK..SO I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING OUT OF POCKET....AFTER FIXING THE ENGINE SUPPOSEDLY I WAS TOLD IT NEEDED AN ALTERNATOR AND THAT MY AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT WAS ON....ALL OF THESE THESE WERE MENTIONED AFTER FINDING OUT MY ENGINE WOULD BE FIXED FOR FREE.....I will be writing to EXPLAIN EVERY THING THAT HAPPENED WITH MY VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY STILL HAVE IT ..I WILL BE GOING IN TO SPEAK WITH THE ***** ...There is so much more to this catastrophe....of service on top of losing my paperwork to telling me to pick up my car that it was ready.... to calling my back 15 minutes later to tell me that it wasn't ready to ....TELLING me after they supposedly test driving it.. that it needed AN ALTERNATOR....to me getting an alternator and having putting in to it smoking and me bringing it back...******, the manager drive it and said it was good all points checked but the AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT WAS ON....NEVER HAS MY AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT BEEN ON...AND I WAS CALLED ON SATUR*** BY THE SERVICE TECH AND THE MANAGER ****** THAT IT WAS GOOD TO GO THEY WERE JUST WAITING ON ME TO PICK IT UP AND THAT ALL IT NEEDED WAS AN ALTERNATOR EVERYTHING ELSE CHECKED OUT...NOW KEEP IN MIND PAPERWORK HAD TO BE TURNED IN ORDER FOR THEM TO RUN DIAGONOSTIC CHECK OR EVEN BEGAN RECALL WORK ON MY CAR... ALL OF THIS IS GOING AND MY MOM HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER ONE WEEK EARLIER...ON THE *** SHE HAD TO GO IN FOR CHEMOTHERAPY I WAS TOLD ALL THE PAPERWORK HAD TO BE BROUGHT IN ON THAT *** SERVICE TECH CALLED...I WAS NEVER TOLD THERE WAS A DEADLINE.. the service tech said yes im.sorry there is so I had to leave my MOM AND RUN DOWN TO GLASSMAN HYUNDAI TAKE MY RECEIPT IN ...ONLY FOR THE TECHNICIAN TO CALL THE NEXT *** AND SAY THAT HE MISPLACED THEM AND COULD I BRING THEM BACK IN...THAT WAS THE FIRST ACT OF UNPROFESSIONALISM...AND LITTLE DID I KNOW THERE WAS MORE TO COMEGlassman Automotive Group Response
