            Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
            Minnesota Dept. of Labor & Industry Consent Order

            On April 26, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated the terms of the September 22, 2021 Consent Order, which stated: “The Commissioner reserves the right under Minn. Stat. § 326B.082, subd. 11(b) to deny or place conditions on any future license application(s) submitted by Joshua Ryan Mulder, individually, or on behalf of any other entity.” In March, 2022, Mr. Mulder applied for a license from DLI.  Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to ensure all contracts with Minnesota consumers are in compliance with Minn. Stat. 326B.809, 326B.811 and 327A.08(c) (2020) and all contracts shall be in writing and signed by all before work begins and a copy given to the consumers. The penalty of $3500 is stayed, or not due on the condition the business complies with the terms of the Order. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
