      Where to start.... We have been a client of SE since 2019 giving them over $10K in set-up fees and monthly fees not to include the exorbitant processing fees our athletes and families pay. My club transferred ownership in the last couple of years and we requested the SE make the appropriate updates on the back end which was never done. Over the last 2 months, there have been two instances where payment processing has been frozen and delayed to unlock. We have provided them with all the documents they requested to unlock the processing and release the fund yet they have yet to do so tying up over $5K in client payments and around $20K in accounts receivable. We have coaches and facilities to pay and are now behind on payments because these funds are on hold. We are now on week 3 with zero updates and I can't even get a response from SE. In fact, we had to reach out to them to find out why payouts had been paused in the first place. There has been a lack of transparency and proactiveness and now distrust in SE. I would not recommend anyone touching this company with a 10ft pole. Their customer service is horrible and if you read the other reviews I can say we are in good company. When this is resolved, we will be moving our business away from SE and their platforms. We understand that things come up but when there is a lack of communication and a phone call cannot even be made after 5 years of conducting business to explain what is going on then it is on SE. Stay away from SE.

      LIVE my a**!!! This site absolutely SUCKS!!! Parents are paying to see their kids play when we can't attend thinking yes I can watch and support them even when I can't be there in person. My son went (is in) to IN for a tournament and we live in AZ. I THOUGHT this would be useful to be able to watch the game since I couldn't go. But NOPE not LIVE because of time change. How do you not account for time change??? This is not the first issue either with this site. This season, about 10 games later I can say we have maybe MAYBE have been able to watch 1 full game without issues. And there is at least a 2 to 3 minute lag time from what is live. So not worth paying for if want to watch anything LIVE!!! If I could give NO stars I would.

      Sports engine is literally the worse ever. Never had to use it for coaching but until this year. The organization I chose to coach with chose this program idk why. I paid 40 dollars for my background screening. They took payment and then canceled the screening. Never got an notification or email about cancelation. Bow I can't get a refund because the the admin for the organization have to do it I can't even get on contact with anyone on automated voices. I could I wood but zero stars but I know now to stay away from this company

      This company knew for 6 years that they were shutting down League Athletics. They emailed me one month before they wanted to shut our website down. Our website doesn’t even work with Sports Engine so now it’s leaving us scrambling to find something before they totally shut down in December This company is irresponsible and if I could do more through the media to let people know I would

      SportsEngine/Team Unify is the worst platform for teams, and has zero customer service for parents. I have been trying to find someone (anyone!) from SportsEngine/TeamUnify to help me resolve an obvious issue with my swimmer's account that is causing massive headaches for the club, me as a parent, and the swimmer -- and I can't find anyone to help me. I have emailed, sent comments, tried various telephone numbers (all dead ends). It's like the company exists to sell bad product but then won't help the customers whose money they are taking. Truly appalling.

      As a site Administrator and client, I have been incredibly disappointed in SportsEngine's handling of our website. As mentioned in a previous review, we were forced to migrate from a legacy host, League Athletics, to the SportsEngine platform. This took place with no notice or any emails or instructions on facilitating the migration and avoiding disruptions. Instead, my website is broken at a critical time before the start of our soccer season. No communication has been available with SportsEngine, and when I tried to call them today, their completely useless phone system told me to 'go online for a resolution.' I am genuinely shocked at this company's ineptitude and lack of human touch regarding their clients. I would give a negative number if I could at this point.

      This platform is garbage. How in the world is it $8.75 "processing fee" for a youth sport? Other platforms I have used for other youth sports is 1/3 the fee. Just a money grab by greedy NBC.

      We appreciate your review. We consistently review our pricing compared to other organizations in the market and have found that our fees are competitive. Part of that fee is a credit card processing charge that is then passed to the credit card servicer, which is outside of our control.

      Avoid this company unless you just have plenty of time to sit and watch your monitor for chat replies or inbox for new emails. Customer support is TERRIBLE. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to this, having done it since 2015. That was with a previous company that SportsEngine apparently bought out or something. Sports SignUp Play was amazing, then it turned to this crap. They make you pay a huge chunk of change for not very much provided. You have to wait on them to create registrations (which Sports SignUp Play allowed admins to do on their own), then they're never right once they come in. So you can A.) reply back with changes and wait days for a response or B.) dig into the settings and fix it yourself, which I could've done from the beginning. As a league admin for baseball, softball, tball and football this does nothing but make my life even more stressful during registration periods. Had it not auto renewed I would not be with them now, but will definitely be cancelling prior to next year.

There certainly are differences between the platforms that need to be 'relearned' after years of using the same system. When you do reach out to Customer Support, please note that the system is set up so that you can walk away from your computer and the response will be in the same conversation thread. No need to wait around. It's the exact same support system that has been used on SSUP for years. Regarding Registrations, you are able to create your own as you've always done in SSUP. No need to wait for SE to complete the registration for you. If you need help gaining Reg Builder access, please reach out within your current open conversation - no need to start a new one.Hopefully once the season is underway, you'll see the benefits of moving to SportsEngine! Thanks!

      If you register your athlete for an event through Sports Ngine, bear in mind that the Reg Saver option for "travel insurance" is a scam. The only way you'll get your money back if your athlete has to cancel is through death of a sibling or parent, hospitalization, relocation to a different state or country, and/or military service. The Reg Saver app will not make any of this clear to you before you pay. Moreover, Sports *****'s claim process will lead you to believe that you're insured if something unexpected arises: your boss will not give you the time off, your athlete has to attend summer school, your athlete quits the sport, your athlete has a mental illness, your athlete is given a better opportunity on the same day, etc. This is absolutely not the case. They work through ************** and ***** policy does not support any of these common reasons for cancellation. Since almost all sports camps charge in full up front, you will lose your money if something goes wrong whether or not you have the Reg Saver, so make sure that you do not pay for the Reg Saver. If you speak with management from *** or Sports Ngine, they will say that they can't get access to the claim you filed, or they will pretend that they read the file and found it to be unacceptable. I know for a fact that the *** manager did not bother to read my claim before rejecting it. The Sports ***** executive said that he had no access to my claim. Sports ***** seems to have no control over ***** decisions and *** has no accountability to anyone. Therefore, all athletes and parents of athletes should be well aware of this before signing up for a camp or event through Sports Ngine. Also, do not sign up if the camp or event director states that there is no reimbursement for a cancellation. That, in and of itself, is a red flag. Avoid those events.

      I would consider myself to be a tech savvy guy, but working within this app/program isn't easy. Also in my day to day work life, I work with customer service folks and I can tell you that the way things are handled here would not fly in my world. It's impossible to get someone on the phone. My issue could be easily resolved if I could only get to an actual support person. The reps within their "support chat" are sales reps and do NOTHING to help you other than tell you they've passed along your issue and that someone with be in touch with you. Waiting more than 48 hours for help is not a good business model.
