      June 10 of 2022 a 2010 ****** Armada was purchased from Weelborg Ford. At the time I was only giving the option of one vehicle on the wall due to my credit and this was the vehicle. Within 30 days vehicle was leaking from the radiator, the transmission, the engine, there was a break in the exhaust at the catalytic converter, none of the steering controls are functioning, and no horn. In August this phone call was made to get the vehicle in to have a checked it took till September 26 to get to the appointment and an estimate of $2500 is what the bill came up to. The general manager said that he would take care of this and make it right but still today there has been no movement with a vehicle at all. When confronted the general manager stated to my mother and myself that they do not check their vehicles I find that to be very disappointed. Either they repair the vehicle or like they said theyll buy the vehicle back but if they buy the vehicle back I lose my down payment is $1700 and $840 that Ive been making payments. An additional warranty was purchased with the intent that if something went wrong with the vehicle it would be covered under the warranty nothing was covered other than the radiator in the amount of $800. The transmission leak so bad that it destroyed his 6 x 6 tiled area in the garage leaving basically very little transmission fluid left in the vehicle. On July 29, 2022 I had a multi level next season and have to undergo another surgery November 23 of 2022 with all said I had to have a cosigner along with myself and at this point is damaging both of our credits because the vehicle is not drivable as it is. The vehicle has been at the dealership for the last seven weeks and nothing has been done to the vehicle as we speak. This is put myself nice family in a hardship not being able to make my medical appointments as I need to whats the amount of issues this vehicle has there should not be any doubt that the vehicle was sold in negligence.

      The initial customer's concern was brought up about the leaks.  We tried to get it into service department as soon as possible but due to being booked out a month in a half it is difficult to move people forward as others have appointments.  Unfortunately at this time we are short handed in our shop which is something out of our control and why it took sometime to get it in the service department. We were on the same page to do repairs that would help the leaks and also the extended warranty that was purchased did cover the water pump issue.  We wanted to make it right and do the right thing but getting negative reviews and trying to make things right makes it very difficult to accomplish this task. Under ********* state law the customer did sign a AS IS buyers guide, understanding the risk when buying a vehicle AS IS.  Our finance company offered a warranty which the customer took advantage of but with the financing source and the amount of miles of (*******) we used all that was available was a powertrain warranty. I have had many conversations with the customer, it has been a difficult and unfortunate situation that we wish on nobody as Weelborg Ford.  We resolved the issue but thought it should be fair to the customer and the dealership due to purchasing an AS IS vehicle and purchased months previously. But we hope that we have resolved the issue and can move on from this negative review.
