I have been a customer for a few years and I have to say that the first year with this company was terrific. However, after that initial year the service has not been close to what I expected. The lawn service is constantly cutting grass down to the dirt. We have been in a drought situation in our area and yet the lawn mowing doesn't stop. This winter I have been charged full price each month for snow removal, yet we only have had our driveway/walkway cleared once, maybe twice this season. I was hoping that good customer service would prevail and I would see a discount of some sort for the lack of snow but to no avail. Last year they went through some kind of computer change that charged me almost $500 extra. It took months to get someone to look at it and they still managed to justify the charges and then withdrew over $700 at once from my account. I have tried to work with them but I may need to look somewhere else for service.Review from JD L

I feel angry that I have to at least give 1 star - 0 stars or negative stars would be appropriate. We signed up for snow removal and lawn service after Peter Doran successfully removed snow in the winter of 2021. The lawn care and customer service is beyond horrible. First, they sprayed our yard with something that turned it brown within 24 hours. Then we spent the rest of the summer pausing services because the would 'do' the yard even though it wasn't growing? We have called multiple times to cancel the service, no one calls back. I finally did get through and they said someone would be coming for fall clean up - no one ever came, called again to cancel. Thought we were successfully cancelled because no snow removal service after a couple snows, but alas, a bill shows up for both snow removal and fall clean up...that were never done? What does it take to fire this organization and get out of the absolute terrible service? The customer service is beyond poor as these ladies cannot seem to help - ever. I want my service canceled and the billing for services never completed STOPPED immediately!

** and *******, we apologize that you feel this way. I have reviewed all the emails you sent in over the summer with your concerns to see if we missed addressing anything and I see that we responded every time. I show that we applied a credit of $350.022 for mows that you were billed for however did not receive. We fixed this issue and you responded thanking us. So I'm sorry if more was not done here that you were looking for. Regarding the Fall Clean up, you were never charged for this service. We try our best to time fall clean *** to get everyone in. We have to pay attention to when the majority of the leaves have fallen and we go until weather permits us to continue. We had every intention of completed your fall clean up, the weather changed before we could finish them all. For the snow removal, you were signed up for 2" plowing. The snow event that happened in November was a 1" event so we would not have plowed your property. However in good faith I removed the snow removal charges. We do our best to work with customers and complaints, I apologize you feel that we could not meet your expectations.Review from Bernie R

I signed up for Fall cleanup and they came in October before any leaves had fallen and still charged me their full fee. They came back on November 30th and picked up leaves that had fallen since and charged me again the full fee: total of $986.00 just to pick up leaves. Three phone calls to complain were never returned. I will not use their service again. ******.Review from Faye

***** was the employee we hired to work for Peter Doran Lawn and Landscaping. We had no idea that he brought or intended to bring ****** on to work with him. Since ***** was the employee we hired he is the one who received payment for the work. ***** would be the one to pay ****** out of his funds if they had an agreement.
