The business has failed to send out my renters rebate, and has failed to follow up with a police report regarding a break in that happened in January 2024 the police said my door, door locks, and door frame are a safety and security issue and needed to be replaced the management company said the door, door locks and door frame were not going to be replaced as they still are operable and I feel unsafe in my apartment. The management business has also failed in replacing my carpet that has rips in it prior to me moving in and its a tripping hazard.Business response

Dear BBB and ******,
We have received the complaint as filed. Taking over management we received the call regarding the break-in, and we came down to the property to respond the same day. We understand it is quite an alarming experience and required our review. We received no communication from the police about the need to replace the doors. Upon our onsite inspection the deadbolt and door work so there is no need to replace the doors.The 2023 rebates for CRPs are for a timeframe outside of our bounds and management. Those have been addressed by the owner.
Received the request for the carpet and have worked with the owner for approval for a replacement. We ask for your patience as the process is multi stepped and requires time. At this time, we are working on pricing and scheduling with vendors. The original complaint on the carpet it was communicated to us the problem was preexisting at move in, which according to our records indicate tenant moved in 2022. JLS is moving faster than previous management if tenants concerned wasnt addressed from 2022 to the present time.
