Minnesota Roofing Company installed a new roof, window and door wraps at my home after they were damaged in the August 11th hail storm. This was my first experience with a large insurance claim. Each person I had the sincere pleasure of working with throughout the entire process was professional, kind, courteous, down to earth, fun and very responsive to all my questions. Though there were some "hiccups" along the way (on the part of my insurance company), DarrelI, Jeff, and Carl supported and guided me throughout the entire process. I felt completely at ease with their guidance. The entire project was finished to my complete satisfaction. If I have any other work to be done in the future, I plan on contacting Minnesota Roofing Company.Review from Peter K

Explain communication with Jake and Carl about the process of getting the work completed. Very nice guys and great to get along with. The cost was reasonable even if the insurance company paid for it except the deductible. The clean by the workers was quick and you would not have known a roof had been put on the day before. I would not go with this company if you want your complete satisfaction to be their priority. -We experienced our first ever ice dams causing leaks into our home -Andy did a free quick roof assessment -We asked him to check the lower back roof area for roof and shingle damage due to ice dams, and to give us a quote for roof repairs -He quoted us almost 8K for a full back roof replacement with no explanation, not what we asked for -My husband followed-up, asked again for only a roof repair quote -Andy then stated that a full back roof replacement is the best route b/c he cannot identify areas causing leakage. He then gave us a quote of $800 for roof repairs as the other option. -We paid for the roof repair option to “re-caulk/seal any all protrusions on the roof” per our email correspondences -Weeks later in the AM, I heard some intermittent thumps on our roof for about 10-15 minutes -Confused, I woke up my husband who tried to see who it was but they had left -Husband texted Andy, who said he sent men out that morning -We were VERY CONCERNED no one told us when they were coming, the work was so quick, and we were not even told what they did or observed up there -We asked Andy to have one of the men he sent out to call us and tell us what they did up there -Andy called and stated it was actually him and another person – okay? -Andy stated the shingles looked good so they only sealed the PVC pipes and the vent areas -I later on climbed the roof to see, and was SHOCKED at such little work that was done for $800. The small areas glued didn’t even have protrusions nor were they the areas of leak concern! -Contacted Andy about this to see if we can get a partial refund as the work was not worth $800 -Andy refused, said he was honest the whole time about ice dams and the work they would be doing – NOT TRUE (have record of this)! Discussion about ice dams causing temporary leaks was only mentioned during our phone conversation AFTER the work was done! -Wife

The customer was notified, before the contract siding that we have a $800 job minimum on all jobs, even if its just caulking, or 1 vent, or a shingle repair our job minimum was $500 before COVID however with the rising cost of everything we bumped it up a year, ago. The customer was completely aware of the $800 job minimum and we have a contact to prove it, this was just a simple roof inspection along with repairing some high nails and some caulking, The homeowner was not there to even see the work that we did. I am the owner of the company and I was the one that went out there with the sales guy to do the repairs. Every company in construction has a job minimum most are at $1000. The sales man notified me of the homeowners frustration and I called him right away and left a message but never received a call back. I wanted to explain the work that took place. A friend recommended MN Roofing to me and I am so thankful they did! Chuck came out and did the initial assessment, met with the inspector, talked with the adjuster and made sure things were handled every step of the way. Any questions I had were addressed quickly and easily. He explained the complicated claim forms from insurance to me in a way I could understand. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process, knowing he had it handled and was always a step ahead. My first time dealing with a large insurance claim, was a great experience!Review from Curt B

I contacted ***** requesting some immediate roof repairs that were needed to satisfy my insurance company. This is an older roof and was not installed by Minnesota Roofing. It was the first time ***** and had talked. He listed to my needs and acted immediately to get work started as soon as practical to meet unrealistic deadlines established by the insurance company. **** did the actual work on the roof and did a fantastic job. He contacted me directly via phone, listed to what I was concerned about, and kept me informed during the entire process. Highly recommended. Great communication thru out...Review from Michael S

These are some of the good guys. Everyone I worked with was friendly, honest and responsive. Didnt leave me hanging. Great communication and excellent work done in a timely fashion. I would recommend them to anyone looking for roof or siding work. They struggled through a difficult insurance claim and got the work done to my satisfaction without extra charge.Review from Blake S

Horrible work. Left a huge gap in my roof that allowed bats and wasps into our house. They would not fix the problem nor back up their work. We specifically asked them to ensure that no bats could get in, and they failed immensely. Now we have to pay for an exterminator to fix the gap and eliminate the pests. These guys are the "Good Guys" of roofing, down to earth, friendly, funny, and really go out of their way to help people. During some other renovations to our home, we were told that there was existing roof damage that needed to be fixed. With the expenses of everything else, we couldn't afford a new roof at this time. I explained this to Minnesota Roofing Company when they came out for an estimate, and I feel like they really understood our situation. There wasn't any high pressure sales tactics, they told us what needed to be fixed, and gave us a reasonable estimate. When they came to do the work, they were prompt, efficient, and not only fixrd the roof damage, but also fixed shingles and gutters. Overall, from the estimate to the service call, a great experience with Minnesota Roofing Company. We will definitely be contacting them when we are ready to replace the roof. We needed our roof replaced, along with other damage because of hail damage and the work was completed professional. Very friendly employees and helpful.
