Purchased a $ **** giftcard and received a$250 promotional giftcard for doing so. They gave me physical plastic gift cards w magnetic strips for swiping. I already purchased separately 2 skin care packages on a seperate credit card. Was using those treatments when i got burned by my eye by one of them. I still have the discolored spot about a year later. So i asked to transfer those remaining treatments credited towards a different treatment which wouldnt burn me. They did so and i was temporarily happy. Then on a subsequent visit i went to buy an additional package of the non burning treatment with the $1250 i had on the gift cards i had purchased a few months earlier. I was told i only had $888 left on the giftcards! I asked how that could be? I never gave anyone at radiance either physical giftcard. What happed to several hundred dollars? I was told they took the funds from the giftcard account. But again i never gave anyone the cards as a method of payment. Without my knowledge or approval they charged me! All, pricing and charges should be fully disclosed and agreed to. Additionally the 2 employees in the store who were understanding and helpful reviewed my account in an attempt to rectify the discrepancy. They both reviewed the account and agreed that the billing was incorrect and for give measure they called their manager at 730 at night to have the manager review the account. The manager agreed their was a billing error and all monies would be fully re-instated. A few days later i received a vm from someone in their operations department apologizing and attempting to explain what happened. He stated the refund has indeed occurred. So i thought all was taken care of. So i spent an additional $3000 with them. On my most recent visit, i learned that the $1250 gift cards had not been refunded afterall.

On August 29th,2023 I went to Radiance Medspa in Woodbury Mn to get Botox injections. Since I had had Botox before I knew what to expect. When I went in for my injections, I believe here name was *******, the girl told me that it would take 36 of the injections to do what needed to be done. When I had it done before through my dermatologist it only too 14. They never took a picture of the before, which I thought was odd, but went a head with the injections. ******* told me that it would take7-10 days for the effects of the injections to show. What she also told me is that what I got was not Botox, but a generic version of it. I waited 2 weeks for something to happen, but it never did. When I called to ask them about it and told them that there had been no change they told me to wait a little longer. It was then that I found out that ******* no longer worked there. I don't believe that I ever got any injections of any kind of Botox or the generic form. When I went there this morning to show them the results of those 36 injections, I was told by the manager that they could not help me and that I should go somewhere else. She was very rude and did nothing to help me with my complaint. It's been 33 days since I supposedly got 36 Botox injections that were suppose to be just like Botox and still have not seen any evidence that I ever received anything. I've had the real Botox before and it only took 14 injections that started to show ** in about 5 days. This place is a ripoff and fact that their manager refused to try and rectify the issue pretty much says it all about that place.

There are a number of false and damaging accusations associated with this complaint.  First of all the nurse she saw was ***************  We offer 2 types of neurotoxins at Radiance medspa and have offered both of them for over a decade.  We have had continued successful results with both  Botox and Xeomin.

******** said that she wanted Botox injected, but Xeomin was the product that was on special.  She wanted the product that was on special, but she thought it was Botox.  The *********************, explained to her that ****** was on sale, not Botox.  She explained the difference between the 2.  The client chose to go ahead with the Xeomin injection. A few weeks later, ******** came back in  and spoke with *****, the spa manager, and "wanted her money back" and said that "her wrinkles were worse and she saw no correction."   She also stated that she thought the ******************** "stole the Botox since ******* no longer worked at Radiance". ***** reassured her that "******* was a quality employee and that was an unfair and derogatory comment with no proof associated to the comment."  The client also told ***** "she was a terrible manager. " At that point we told her the conversation was over and we would be escorting her to the door.  We have a zero tolerance policy when clients are aggressive and bullying the team members.

We will not be refunding the client her money as she received a quality treatment with ******************** and Xeomin.

6/29/23 at Radiance Medspa, woodbury, ** for cosmetic lip filler but was given an estimate for $2k for cheeks also. Most of filler was injected into cheek areas, after injecting lips, nurse ******* said it didnt look normal, used repeated injections to dissolve filler from right side of mouth. She said she would send prescriptions but aspirin was not there and one wasnt covered (she said it was occluded). I was severely bruised and still am. She told me I would not be charged for a syringe because she had to dissolve it, but I was charged for half of it per the manager, total $1800. She asked me to send photos and text the next day. I tried to setup a followup with her to get it fixed and staff wouldnt let me. I got a text saying it was unkkown how kuch it would cost to fix my face. I came in on 7/3 for a followup, the medical director was not there despite being told he would be. The blood thinner medication was increased and I paid for another prescription. I suggested arnica which was in their office to help with the bruises, which ******* later texted me that she paid for. I was told the manager agreed to replace half a syringe and have ******* try to fix it in twoweeks. On 7/5/23, ******* wanted more photos texted as she would be gone for a week, but I texted the office that I was uncomfortabl eith this, offered to come in for an office visit. Due to no response I called was transferred to the manager who said her email is secure she would delete the photos, but it wasnt hippa complaint email, didnt delete them, respinded to the email with them still in the email chain hours later, acknowleded a link i was texted by their office to post a review on ****** for a giftcard which was fake. I called to have another provider consult during the injection but they said she was gone. My lips are lopsided, I paid for filler that was dissolved and its suggested I will need to pay to correct it, Im in pain, have facial bruising, am on medications that are making feel ill

We have had numerous conversations with **** and our final conversation was that we felt that **** would be serviced best by another provider and not Radiance.

We also issued **** a full refund.
