Wonderful, wonderful store! Their customer service is the best! They ask and answer questions as needed to ensure that the customer gets the right solution, even if it means phone calls and follow up.

STL Beds is THEEEE place to go for all your bed needs. **** and his crews customer service is 2nd to none. They treat you like family. They treat you like you and your needs are all that matters. They go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% satisfied. I have recommended STL Beds to several family and friends, and they were treated with the upmost respect. For that matter, my mother, my best friends mother, my best friend, my two grown children, and myself are all sleeping on beds and pillows purchased through STL Beds. Solid steel bed rails with a nice black finish. The rails ordered were for a twin long pair of beds. My only complaint is the the rails don't come inward enough for my bed foundations and mattresses. If the rails came inward/closer towards each other throughout the entire length by an 1.5 inches it would be perfect. The distance between the edge of lip to lip of the rails is 37 inches while my mattresses and foundations are **** inches wide leaving my foundations supported on only .25 inches on each side, clearly not good enough on its own. Just made some slats to make up for it. Overall it does what it needed to do.STLBeds Response

HI ******, We really want to say thank you for telling us how everything worked for you. The frame builder follows ISPA Standards. The lip gap at 37" is designed to work with a twin or twin xl boxspring/foundation that follows the same standards which is 38" inches. It sounds as if the mattress and foundation builder may have cheated in the build of your boxspring/foundation by a .5 inches. Unfortunately, Slats or plywood is your only real solution. I work with a handful of frame builders and they also follow ISPA Standards. I will definitely forward your issue to the manufacturer. The service provided by STL Beds was excellent. The product was well described, and the order was placed and processed immediately. The product was shipped to me the same day.My new STL Full to ******************** Lowered Rail Bed Frame Converter DRCV1L arrived within a couple of days of placing the order. The package and contents were in good order. The frame assembly was easy, and the bed frame was very stable, even with only the center cross brace. The box spring and mattress are well supported, and stable with both me and my wife aboard. The bed is in a guest bedroom and has not yet been used, but have every expectation that it will serve its function.STLBeds Response

******, I appreciate the detailed review. Our entire staff strives to make sure everything goes just the way you described. On line shoppers put a great deal of trust into companies like us. It's a complicated process to get the correct frame for an ordinary bed. It really gets complicated when we try to make a full size head and footboard work with a queen size mattress and boxspring. Then add in a hook in type connection and lower it. Then make this work with beds that didn't have some type of build standards. This is why we always make certain to have a discussion with the customer before a bed frame ships. 5 or 5 questions and we can usually tell someone if we have a frame that will fit their bed correctly. **** and *******, This is a late thank you to let you know the 'bed frame solution' you proposed worked for me. I received the frame very quickly and installed it easily. I was lazy and didn't even drill out the extra pieces, just left them folded into the rails. *************** remember me saying that the bed had been part of my parent's bedroom suite when they set up housekeeping. My dad was wounded at Anzio in **** and was shipped back to the States for a long hospital stay. My parents, both in uniform, were married at the hospital in ****. It meant a lot to me to be able to keep the bedroom suite together and not have to put the bed into storage. Again, thank you. All the best, *****STLBeds Response

Each story we hear is different and unique, but each one is very important. I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying your new bed frame and it is helping to keep those great memories alive.
